MSI G321CU | 32" 4K 144Hz Gaming Monitor - 2 Weeks Later Review

Could you make a video or short about your graphic settings on this particular monitor? Can’t find much on this monitor.

I'm debating whether I should go from this Dell S3221QS model to this MSI model. The Price is good right now and I'll probably go with it in 2 weeks but I'm also looking at other MSI and Samsung 1440p 32 inch monitors that have a 1000r curved. I don't know if it makes sense to upgrade to a high hz 4k curved 1500r monitor or if a bigger upgrade is going for 2k resolution with a strong 1000r curve. I'm also on an rtx 3070 8gb so if I go with the 4k high hz monitor I will have to tweak settings in GTA V and many other pc titles just to hit 90-100fps. Definitely will be smoother overall but at the cost of overall graphics. I'm also worried if the Monitor looks too much like my Dell when I'm not gaming. If I'm watching youtube videos and etc. So that's another reason I'm not in a rush to buy it because I am trying to do research to see what is the best option. My research so far has not helped me. I cannot make a proper decision still. Would the stronger 1000r curve be the better option? My other Fear is if I go from 4k to 2k if I will notice all the pixels and that 2k at 32 inches is probably bad. They both might be similar quality overall but the MSI also offers a better curve at 1500r and the Dell is 1800r curve I believe.

Is it glossy or matte

I have a question about this monitor. I bought it to use with my ps5 and didn't realize it didn't have a speaker built in. Can I connect a usb c speaker to back port to get sound or does it have to have an aux cable to work?

@Tech Jamo I have this same model and its stuck at 60fps. and my gaming laptop that i have it connected to is 144Hrz. Do you have any suggestions or ideas what i can do about this?

Hey bro. Question. I have a rtx 4090 in my rig. What's better the native 4k at 60hz or the other 4k at 144hz? I can't figure it out why there's 2 options. Sometimes I get a message in the corner that says you're capable of better resolution if you'd like to change it click here. So I do but I can't tell the difference or which is better. Any info would be appreciated.

i’m kinda new to pcs thinking about getting a 4k monitor i got a rtx 7900xtx and ryzen 7 cpu can my pc handle 4k 144hz bc i notice on games like spiderman with lots of ray tracing i get pretty high temps sometimes in the 80c thoughts appreciated

Im getting 2 of these monitors for my new setup. My new gpu has 1 hdmi 2.1 and 3 displayport 2.1 outputs. The momitor has 2 hdmi 2.1 inputs and the displayports are only 1.4 on these monitors. I can obviously do the 4k 144hz on one with the hdmi 2.1 but on the other do you have any suggestions on getting 4k on it with only having Display ports left on the gpu? The display ports on the gpu can do the 4k 144hz but the monitor has dp 1.4 which for everything I have ready it can't do 4k 144hz. Trying to figure a way around that.

I've just received mine and I'm sending it back unfortunately 😭 The colors and brightness are uneven (+ 2 defective pixels). The black borders seems quite thick to me but maybe is it the case for all monitors ? The lack of height adjustment is also a small disadvantage in my opinion. That's too bad because it could have been a great monitor. Otherwise I can now tell that 32" (31.5") 4K is the sweet spot 🙂

I'm not sure if I have this exact monitor. When I first got it I was able to play cod 3 In 4k 120herts now I can only get 2k at 120 no matter what I do?

One gripe with the review was VA Panels are in general probably your worst choice for esports and fast paced action games because they have the worst Response Time of any panel type. The Response Time for this monitor is 1ms mprt and not GTG. The lowest tested on this monitor is actually 4 ms GTG, the highest tested was 13.3 ms GTG and the Average Input Lag from device click/input to on screen action was 4.9 ms. This being said VA Panels are phenomenal for Story Based games like the Witcher or Monster Hunter: World because VA Panels tend to have slightly higher Contrast Ratios so the Blacks get deeper. You need to do research though because if you don't choose the right VA Monitor you can get Black Smearing and Black Crushing in Darker Scenes. Sometimes you can't even tell what's going on because everything is so dark.
