great video thanks!! just have a question . The Nvidia control panel don´t shows me the display options, only 3d configuration. Laptop owner here. I don´t know what to do. 😥😥
I haven't experienced ghosting with my monitor. In your case, try to change the cable or update your drivers. If not resolved, try to check if this article helps. levvvel.com/monitor-ghosting-fix/
No, the monitor is not 4K. Its native resolution is 1080p. The 4K quality video you're watching on RU-vid will be downscaled to 1080p when you use this monitor.
So far, I didn't experience any bleeding effect on my monitor. Since this one uses a VA panel, I won't worry too much about bleeding as compared to IPS and TN panels.
Is there any difference (except 144Hz vs. 165Hz) using HDMI or Display port? We have both connection types, just wondering if it worth buying DP-cable instead HDMI-cables, which was supplied? Santa is probably bringing two of these monitors to my boys. Both are eager players of CSGO ;)
Hi! If you have a decent build, CS:GO will definitely reach very high frame rates (exceeding even 165 FPS) at 1080p so if you use this monitor, I suggest that you use DP cable to maximize your experience. That is free ~ 20 FPS for you just using a specific type of cable over the other.
Hi! Since I live in Korea, this is the one I bought online, and still using up to this day. global.gmarket.co.kr/item?goodsCode=1492194755 I believe it will be safe to use any DP cable version 1.2 to get that 165Hz.
Hi! Make sure you're using the correct DP cable. I believe not all will work (must be at least ver. 1.2a). Finally, configure the refresh rate using NVIDIA control panel, not the computer's display settings.
Yes! Please check my next video here in my channel where I used monitor arm. The VESA mount is a standard so it will support both monitor arms and wall mounts.
Yes, this monitor is compatible with GTX 1660. I believe that with the refresh rate and resolution of this monitor, it will be a fairly decent experience for you considering the price. If you have the budget, I recommend buying a larger 1440p monitor.
I don't recommend using VGA port for this monitor. You'll be missing out on many features. Use DisplayPort directly if your graphics card/device supports it.
GSync is a proprietary tech and is not applied in this monitor entirely. What is being applied is the GSync compatibility feature which is done by calculations using software and drivers. True GSync means there is a specific chip in the monitor that communicates with the GPU, and this usually translates to a higher price overall for the monitor.
Personally, it's not that bad for me. Especially if you are around 2 ft. in front of the monitor. Individual pixels are not that obvious especially if you're playing a fast-paced game with lots of frames.
PS4 is capped at 60 fps so I don't think this monitor will be worth it. As such, you will not be able to utilize the 144 or 165 Hz capability of the monitor. I prefer a larger monitor or TV for use with PS4 or PS4 Pro.
@@wn6694 PS5 will have a native resolution of 4K (I believed they ditched support for 1440p as of writing) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz so I think it would be better to use a larger 4K OLED display. If you have the budget, you can consider the LG C10. I would prefer to use this only as a secondary display if you have a PS5.
