Shouldn't be a problem. If the cable connection is the same pin number and is on the correct side of the display, it will work.

not for all msi models. but that model looks really anti-repair design. we have to see inside before buying laptop

@@BananaBeach519 I have a GE73 Raider RGB 8RF-077CA and the keyboard began failing right after the warranty expired. To change it, the entire laptop must be disassembled and some way found to "re-weld" the new one back in. Idiotic design!! I have several older on laptops that only require the removal of one screw then unclip or slide the keyboard out. All unnecessary as the keyboards operate fine even though many years older than the MSI cheaply manufactured one.
