@@salvadorhenriquez4091 Marth has good speed, air drift, and disjoints. All you need is a competent and skilled player like Ignaize or Leo to use those tools that counter Kazuya
Riddles has a bad habit of spotdodging instead of punishing. 3:10 was an easy punish that could’ve won the game but Riddles spotdodged instead. No disrespect to Riddles of course, because he’s an amazing player but that spotdodge habit has hurt him a couple of times.
Riddles is great. But he’s inconsistent, and for a top player, he gets tilted very easily. He just needs maturity and to keep playing (obv) to become a top 5 or 10 in the world in Ultimate.
Fam...Riddles is still good; you must not know Ignaize is a High-level player and we're talking in terms of RAW SKILL top 40-30s area as in he's a major threat to most.
Complaining instead of studying the matchup, keep crying Also you should not have said "ban kazuya" on a match that riddles clearly lost hard because all that's proving is that kazuya isn't ban worthy, bro is actually brainless
@@MrToxSavage nah kazuya and steve have the most busted movesets in the game. the only reason riddles loses is because he plays stupid and drops combos
@@Similarity_ if the best kazuya player in the world is dropping combos, then I don't think it's feasible for any player to not drop the 0-death as Kaz.
I agree that he shouldn’t be banned but I’ll give it to them it is annoying. It’s like a harder version of melee and brawl climbers, practice the touch of death and then get the grab and you win.
@@plabcentral630 Then why did Riddles not win? Its cause Kazuya sucks in other areas(neutral, recovery, jumpsquat etc) to balance out his crazy combos which dont work at higher percentages.
@@yuanwang9324 he didn’t win every issue he failed to get the touch of death 6 times. He went for the not touch of death combo and lost because of it. Idk how long you’ve been playing but when old climbers players tried to not wobble or chain grab things got bad for them.
Going to give Credit to Ignaize for capitalizing off the punishes he needed. Marth clearly isn't no low-tier, he's just a hard to use High-tier - glad he's showing this, modern smashers go for the easy way out; hence why there are not that many Peach, or Sheik players. Well played Ignaize
Yessir! That's what I'm saying about Marth. He's very viable, just hard. I wish other top players respected him. Good thing Ignaize is here to change that.
@@Spyder-Marth I'm pretty sure most agree with this. Hes like shiek in the sense that they are very hard to play and master especially in different match ups but once that is achieved, they arent going to be the ones that are climbing the hill, you are.
@@noobavage6119 I wish I could believe you, but man... people HATE Marth believers from my experience. My experiences must be very different from yours, since many players I talked to online think Marth is GARBAGE and actively told me to drop him for Lucina, Aegis, Roy... any "top tier" swordie.
@@Spyder-MarthI'm a Marth main and will never drop Marth for any character, but I'm a believer that he's a high mid tier. And when it comes to online play, he's one of the absolute worst characters, because it's so damn difficult to execute at times. It's weird, cause you either kill someone at 40%, or you kill them at 180% or higher. Not saying those are the only % ranges I ever kill in, but it's not uncommon that MFs will live to 200% against Marth online. Up throw killing around those %'s is the only saving grace in those situations.
I haven’t even finished this set and I just gotta say it why does Riddles play like this? Giving lesser players openings and chances just cause he wants to go for flashy plays and cause he doesn’t respect certain players. He could have played it safe and won the first match in so many opportunities but instead (for example) he goes for crouch jab x2 into electric into fsmash? My guy, my lil bro can DI and punish that and I don’t even have a little brother. I have 4 minutes left, I already know Riddles doesn’t win these. He’d rather show off than win and that’s a shameful mindset at top level.
man that final neutral b to finish the set was godlike. He aimed for Kazuyas shins because they are the only thing not invulnerable during his crouch dash.... CRAZY big brain
@@imnotgonnasugarcoatit I already know Ignaize is the best Marth (besides maybe Mkleo's Marth when he uses him). I was making a joke that everyone should play Marth to beat Riddles Kazuya. The point of the joke is that no one could play Marth as good as Ignaize or Mkleo. It's called sarcasm.
Actually I was wondering, it looked like those alleged sd's were all in situations where marth's sword was swinging where riddles needed to be, so he dodges the sword but can't grab ledge
@@allencummings7564 yeah idk why the commentators kept calling them sds. not saying I had a problem with the commentary, it was obvious that riddle’s air dodges came up short because ignaize was threatening the space well
