I grew up in a Methodist church - but raised my daughter in an Evangelical big-box church in Southern California. We left when the pastor (that we loved) announced that Gays would not be welcome. Not welcome... let that sink in. Rather, we made working in our vegetable garden at home church on Sunday mornings. Less judgements.

After 14 years of a vile self serving and corrupt Tory (republican style) government, we have just won a Labour (democratic style) government election! I just looked it up, and convicted felons cannot legally vote in Florida until after they serve out their sentence. Somebody has not done that yet, but they voted (early) this week anyway. 😐
