@@achumarevolution as long as you don't record so hot you're clipping (when the sound gets distorted from overloading the mic) you can adjust it either way. you can compress/normalize/increase the level of the audio with a basic plugin

@@achumarevolution It is probably that their headphone volume is more +Db than the actual track. So they hear each other just fine but the actual mix is down since they are adding volume to their headphones but not the actual mix. That'd be my guess.

VoodooMoss it’s fine with headphones. Just turn it up. The issue I have is the inconsistency in volume cuz they refuse to wear headphones. They’re talking softly a foot from the mic one second and laughing full volume an inch from it the next. If they wore headphones they wouldn’t do this cuz they wouldn’t want to blow out their own ears.

LazyLion if they go too high and it clips the whole show would be unlistenable. So they need to strike a balance, which I agree, is quite a bit louder than the current level.
