NICE 👍 gymnastics from Michigan State & Maryland. Commentator Christina Chauvenet was very knowledgeable and gave us great insight, maybe spoke a little more than necessary, but I enjoyed her comments. I would listen to her and then rewind to catch exactly what she mentioned. (Thanks again #1 Gym Fan.)
So I go to Maryland and I will say we start back from winter break a little late, this is the first full week of classes. Sadly Maryland gymnastics doesn’t get huge advertisements too and basketball games are usually on at the same time so people go to the bars to watch those
nope now seeing another angle there appear to be a few people in the front rows during the floor rotation. i'm gonna go look up the announced attendance for this. not good. *update* 1006 they say. dubious. hmm 13629 is a shot where you see crowd. maybe it's just the way they grouped the attendees/filmed it.
@@vivsagworld246 yea. it looks way worse on camera than a sparsely attended meet where they're spread around, imo. bc 3/4 of the angles you're seeing literally an empty arena.
I had to stop watching after a while. I wish the networks would hire commentators with a little more experience (degree, internship, or shadowing) rather than giving away all available positions to retired ncaa gymnasts.
Very badly done. The speakers are commenting on what the camera isn't showing. Comments like "She stuck the landing" when there was a big hop. Camera work is poor.
