Nice work. Only video I can find of the ridge direct route for this traverse. Convinced me I should stay with the talus hopping route instead in a couple of weeks
Theres a 10’ crack in solid granite right after that slabby knife edge downclimb, give it a go next time. It stares you in the face as you scramble up to the base of the wall. Those broken blocks you climbed instead looked sketchy and honestly harder. Awesome video!!
What grade does it go at? I was there a couple years ago and remember thinking that it looked difficult. I definitely wouldn't attempt it without gear, but thats just me I guess xD
It’s just 2 moves, a high right foot and a mantle. I wouldn’t want to downclimb it though. Light work compared to LB-Blanca. Thanks again for taking a picture of my friends and I on Ellingwood!
