A lot of years have gone by, and the world has changed a lot. To the ones who remembered this song and came back, you’re a special one. Keep pushing! 💪🏻
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. 2010-2013, a golden age it felt like. Things were so much simpler, and dubstep like this was at its peak.
This kind of stuff still exists. Phaeleh, for example, is still releasing exactly this kind of dubstep. You just have to do a bit of digging. If you stay on the surface, OF COURSE it's gonna be "commercial shit"
This song is the first song I've encountered that ISN'T on Spotify (I've only recently begun using spotify and am adding all my favourites like a madman...) I am sad now. T_T
Dub like this, which you guys say makes you have a "sad feeling" , its what I am after in this world. On the go, walking, bus, train ride - it makes you feel like you live in a different world than anybody else and its a wonderful experience in my head :)
I was huge fan of this song when it came out, because William Orbit did a brilliant job of producing the whole Ray of Light album. This is an interesting new take on an already brilliant song. Well done Mt Eden, you've impressed me again.
Was looking up frozen remixes because it takes me back to my childhood and came across this, used to love sierra leone in my teenage years. Glad to see your still doing your thing Mt Eden, Getting right back into your music again!
thanks, from here I know the artist and title of this song which I been searching for years.... the last I listen this songs was 20 years back... today I found it by this song.... thanks.....
The wobble makes this, if it wasn't for the wobble it wouldn't be good or unique. I personally dont know many songs that have a dope ass wobble like this. Or a beast flow either.
I've gone through so many happy times, sad times and difficult times with this song and its been like a good helpful friend everytime i've tuned into it. Brings so much good feels ngl
+soundseeker63 It's not lazy, this is dubstep you don't find, this is the quality side of dubstep, if you don't like it, go elsewhere but don't insult the masters of dubstep lol
SavageHippie No. There a numerous other dubstep songs and remixes of songs that are simply better executed than this. It is lazy and poorly produced. If you don't like my comment than don't look at it.
soundseeker63 That's your opinion then, but don't like it then don't look at it? No, lol if you don't want replies like mine then don't post them, Mount Eden are simply one of the best old-school dubstep producers and each one of they're songs is unique albeit some of them minimalistic, don't knock them unless you at least produce yourself or have a vast knowledge of music...Mount Eden has been on a roll of it's own for ages now, you won't find this sleight of musical taste elsewhere really.
SavageHippie Oh I see. So because my opinion on this song differs to yours, therefore I am wrong (unless I produce myself, which by the way, I do) and I have no right to post a critical comment because...well in your opinion everything Mt Eden do is fabulous...? Maybe I just dont like the song, and maybe you just need to get over that. Art is subjective and I personally see very little creativity or originality in this particular piece. If you feel differently then good for you but that doesn't make me wrong and I have as much right to comment as you do. Thank you and goodbye.
PLS: Parking Lot Syndrome. When a group of friends stand around in the parking lot talking and chatting after dinner, a movie, or an event. This usually occurs when deciding on what to do next and can last a few minutes. However, it's only considered PLS if it lasts a considerable amount of time. "Let's get rid of this PLS and decide where to go already! We've been out here in this parking lot for an hour and I wanna do something!"
dont be silly! this is one of MT Edens best! nice bass nice lyrics nice sound listen to all this more modern stuff and tell me this is ruinied... also get a good sub ;) cos this is amazing :D
