I know I won’t get much attention but for those of you that use music to escape reality… this was one of those songs for me! Finding dubstep back in middle school and high school has literally kept me alive, with my mind constantly fighting me I’m happy to be alive ! You are all meant to be here!

This song is such a trip for me. I remember listening to mt Eden way back when I was a teen. I remember specifically being 15 years old, I had fallen out with an ex of mine n was drinking quite heavily for a while. I was staying in Tybee island by the ocean at the time N would play this song, still alive and few other mt.eden tracks on repeat alot. I'm now almost 25. That ex I was so hurt over died just a few years ago n I myself am in such a different place. Really just a trip to look back on. So much good and bad nostalgia. Life is such a rollercoaster.

I would like to thank Mt Eden for introducing me to some great artistes like Sigur Ros, Bat for Lashes and Freshlyground. Mt Eden's music was my first taste of dubstep. Still the only dubstep I can listen too. Chillstep is cool too.

How about this for a story then guys. Back in the day, me and my mate were having a sleepover. CoD 4 was on, we had a gaming chair blasting Mt Eden and this song came on. I turned to my friend, and asked him "Is this Bat For Lashes?" Yeah?" he replied. My uncle played in the band Bat for Lashes. We lost our shit, this was like our favorite song from then on. Looking back on it now it feels crazy. Mt Eden remixed a song my uncle played on.
