On April 23rd, Christian and I climbed the Reid Headwall, via the left variation. This route has been high on my to do list for a while, and it did not disappoint! We camped at Illumination Saddle to catch and epic sunset. The ice and snow conditions were great and we enjoyed the summit completely to ourselves.

awesome route and filming! it's hard to tell how steep it is from a wide angle, but it looks pretty exposed and you guys didn't use any pro anywhere?

Thanks, yes we just soloed it. Most of the route is 45-60 degrees. With a few of the steps being 60-80 degrees for short bits. It was with in our comfortable zone to solo and with the ammout of ice fall on the route, moving faster made the most sense.
