It takes about 7 hours to reach the Sugoroku-Hut (2,600m above sea level) in the Japanese Northern Alps by walking along a well-maintained trail (Koike-Shindo Trail) from Shin Hotaka Onsen.
The famous Hida peak, Sugoroku-dake, offers a great view of the Japanese Northern Alps, including the spectacular Yarigatake and Hotaka mountain ranges.
Our group's mountain lodges are located at intervals of 2 to 4 hours to reach the Sugoroku-Hut, so you can enjoy climbing with peace of mind.
