MT09 | FZ09 | PROTAPER Bar + Grip Install 

That's your opinion, but it's wrong! I've had these bars on my MT09 for 6 years now, with no back issues.

Don't change your stock Mirrors !! Don't change anything On the handlebars you will regret it keep your 23 the way it's meant to be !!

It's the Carmichael bend pro taper. Not the evo model.

It's wider and lower, drops you out of the wind and makes highway speeds more comfortable. Also been black it looks much better 👍

@@Bl4ckOnTube in the end I didn't upgrade. Just improved my countersteering technique to accommodate

@@stockstunna lol no handlebars are going to make your front wheel planted, do not charge the bars in this bike at all , you want your front wheel to fell planted then change your preload on the forks

New cables are not needed at all mate, do your research. Works perfectly. 👍

@@craigslistofprojects3451 I don't need to research it lol I own this bike just because someone does it On RU-vid don't mean it's right , you bent the clutch cable it will deteriorate quickly and you cannot bent it back so it's stuffed and the operation of the clutch will not be the same not good enough, it's bent that way for a reason!! , your bars are way too long it will affect the handling in a bad way and you can't make them any shorter while keeping all your switches, I have tried so many bars on this bike and none work , also your throttle cables are all our of line have a look under the tank !! This will affect the feel of the throttle in a bad way and this bike already has a twitchy throttle, if anyone is thinking about doing this I highly recommend not doing it you will stuff up the bike just leave the stock bars on and get used to them , I'd wouldn't even change the stock Mirrors they have been designed for them bars and that bike (weight) , change it and expect vibrations , and your cables are effecting the movement of your bars , so if all them things sound like nothing then go right ahead and ruin your bike for the sake of a lower bar !!!! They look good though 😂

It’s perfectly fine to bend the housing as long as the cable can still be guided through without rubbing on any angled bits. Why are you so pressed, though? You can put cool bars on your 09 too.

@@yourwifesboyfriend6081 no you can't I have tried serval bars the bike is ment to have the stock bars on them you can doggy it up if you want but I recommend not doing it , bending the housing in anyway is going to cause problems trust me , it's already a bad design as it is
