That's Awesome of you to help them guys out. You are a great person James. May God continue to bless you and allow you to get to where you want to be in them 7 years.
Found your channel a few weeks ago and have been watching a bunch of videos! Awesome stuff, I have some similar equipment to you on my channel but I use it in more forestry applications rather than landscaping! Keep up the good work dude!
Always help a customer do a little something before you leave. Sometimes I’ll actually look for a quick something to do. Started doing that last year and noticed I almost always get a call back from this customers. It shows them you can be someone to call for even a small project which is good to fill in gaps in schedule
What's the best way to grade with these skid steers? Do you start at the higher point/elevation and reverse back? Or do you start at the higher point/elevation and push forward? Or is there a better way to do it? Considering using one of these in our yard - it's a tight space which seems to make sense to use one of these but I'm not 100% sure either as I've never operated one. Also, do you use planks of plywood to put under the skid steer when it's on concrete/asphalt and you need it to turn/pivot to change directions so as to not scuff up and damage the ground?
Everything you just asked is basically time on the machine. It’s definitely not the best for grading but you can get by it’s all based on where you start and what elevation your trying to get to. Small cuts are what you want to do with a machine this size it won’t carry a grade so you gotta be an operator and feel. For making marks less turns the better
Hey buddy just getting my MT 100, just curious what do you charge in your area to go out and do grading jobs like the one you posted? It would just be me, the mini and a helper.
I'm thinking of buying an mt100 but i'll need the narrow track for most jobs ,do you know if it is a straight swap of the tracks if i wanted to upgrade to wider tracks ?
Biggest thing is my local Kubota dealer won’t be carrying the scl1000 line up. And bobcat hooked it up and they’re service is on point. Plus I didn’t want to wait a year for the Kubota
@@medjoolmaker honestly this bobcat is stout. No issues, and that’s coming from a Kubota lover lol. At the end of the day as long as the machine is making you money that’s all that matters
I've literally started my own business doing what you do in Canad! Ontario! Any ways these videos really broaden my view on what I can do, I totally have a MT100 aswell and it's a beast, waiting on my attachments to come in currently but man, got to love this! (a.t_earthworks is my insta handle if you want to see what I do with my walk behind!) Litterally just started in May!
