He was incorrect about the key points though. They can search your bags because no one is being forced to ride the subway, is someone doesn't want their bags searhed then they can take a taxi, or drive themselves where they want to go.

I think is a complete waste just because there was NYPD and guards already at these stations, so I think they are protecting the tourists, but actual New Yorkers that live outside the upper east side are still stabbed and people are still being pushed. I’m for the heightened security maybe it will make it better, but they need to make it for people that live outside of the city.

I'd agree as a documentarian and journalist in the city that the subway don't need bag checks, what need to take place is patols in the subway and in the subway cars to one station to another. as I said before, I am not giving up my 4th amendment right when I'm the one that need the protection on the subway

All subway stations in China have metal detectors to check all passengers, so America is far behind and cannot compete with China in terns of security and many other areas. It is such a shame!
Lol facts ! They have barriers at stations that only open when trains arrive. NYC putting up bright lights like it's going to change anything. Instead of putting barriers in place to keep people from being pushed in. How many more people will get pushed before they actually do something.
For the sake of safety, it is a good thing. The American government and the merchants who control the American government must solve the economic problems, especially housing. Millions of unemployed people. Millions of people do not have housing, whether families or young people. Here is the big problem and everyone is under the control of the gallows, which is debt. These problems must be solved. The mission is to strengthen relations with all countries, not to support wars, and not to support wars. This policy is a failure. Elections in America neither advance anything nor delay. @@Zozzo984 Yes, we should put metal detectors with a gate at everyone's doorway, and they will only be able to leave their home once they go through the metal detector and it does not detect anything. Otherwise you will be stuck inside your house. It's your choice to leave your home, so it's not mandatory.
