No visited Cut Gate for quite a while. Not since the repair work to the bog of doom section. Got to say it makes it so much better! I still managed to fit in a couple of "emergency procedures".
Starting at Ladybower you go past all the reservoirs and keep going until you reach Langsett reservoir. A lap of that one takes you on the return journey. Sounds easy but it is about 26 miles of tough riding. The rewards are a couple of absolutely fanstastic descents.
Not much else to say other than this is a real out there feel, a classic Peak District trail. Even highlty regarded by MBR magazine as one of the UK's best trails.....so it must be good..
There are a few options but I normally do it this way. Let me know if you have done this route or a different version.
