Just as the street riding season is about to kick off, the boys already filmed a dope video in Barcelona! Jeremy recently took his Partymaster to Barcelona and wasted no time finding unreal spots and stacking clips. The 4th installment of our Barcelona Days serie features riding from Pavel Alekhin, Antoine "AGG" Gauthier, Guille Lyon, Walter Mayerhofer and Jeremy Menduni. dude Walter and Pavel you guys are bad ass you guys flow make it look so easy. Walter I like your style the most I'm guessing you guys probly don't read this but If you lots respect for everyone on the rise it's helped me get thru cancer a Lil if I beat it my 32 year old trail riding ass is going to take mtb street riding. thank you for living

I don't know if you guys have alot of trouble with innertubes, but solid innertubes are a godsend. I usually get them at walmart if youknow what I mean. I'm cheap, but they are worthit. I get solid foam ones, and they are very stiff, but you can ride over nails untill your tire is shredded and then still get home. as well as not having to worry about blowing a tube on a sharp corner or on a big drop.

Its called a freecoaster. It's a hub that engages to pedal and disengages to roll backwards. Alot of BMX Riders use them

24" its undead oldscool, i love it, 24" is practice, accuracy, effective, and great ground controll and balance. 24 это бессмертная классика, я сам катаю на таких, 24 это практично, точно, эффективно с лёгким веслом и высоким контролем дороги и балансом.

Pinkbike forums are super useful. Make an account and then go search the forums for info. You can ask questions and stuff in there. I don't know where you're based but 26bikes, chainreactioncycles, jenson etc are good sites. Your local decent bike shop is a great resource. Brands like NS bikes, Deity, Dartmoor, Hope, Mavic are super reliable

I don't understand how the bikes can coast backwards but can still be pedaled?

Most bikes, even single speeds, cannot coast backwards because it is a ratchet mechanism in the hub. Apparently these bikes has some special technology that gets around that.

The mechanism is pretty simple... Its a special driver, a freecoaster, where the driver is a nut on a thread. So if you ride forward, the driver get screwed on the one side, gets on the inner ratchets and force can be transferred. But if you ride backwards, the driver doesn´t move, but the inner part does. So the driver get screwed on the other side, where no ratchets are. So no force can be transferred, you ride backward. (With driver I mean here just the outer ring of the driver, where the ratchets bite in... Wrong word, I know, but I don´t know the english word for this part, sorry)
