oh man, that intro is something else. the plows prevailing over the evil embercleave... brings a tear to your eye :') also - hey, its your kaldheim preview card! was looking forward to you building with it.
I was the one playing the green/white tokens in Match 3 (which was actually a version of one of your decks). The plow was indeed too much for me! I love your content and I'm hyped to be in one of your vids!
glad to see the plow back in action. I've been messing around with an orzhov variant with egon, not the most competitive thing in the world but quite fun at times.
@@jamesw2855 yeah, the rados one is probably the most competitive (it was on CGBs channel hence my assumption) but i try and avoid meta cards like kroxa and bone crusher so i stick to the lower tier variants
Last time you showed us that a plow that flies (???) somehow can still get things done. And today we see that you can send the plow along with the land itself towards an opponent and it still works out!
It´s only with LVD when I see a match where I would usualy concede, but then I think: "no wait, it´s LVD, he will probably turn it around" and he does :D
The current Standard is so much fun. Sure there are the usual Mono tilt decks but decks like yours show how this game should be. You finally can play any jank and have a rewarding game experience. I just wished Ugin did not ever exist... ever!!!!
36:21 Shows the "snow tax" potential. Opponent with 1 untapped red and 3 snow lands would represent Frostbite, which could kill the plow. But with just regular basics, the opponent is giving up the information that they don't have it. Even if they don't play Frostbite, playing with Snow basics has an advantage.
Hearing the isolated SFX in the intro shows me that you're recording voice and game sound separately. Never thought about it but that makes a lot of sense!
Hi Luca! Do you practice what you're going to say before you shoot your final video? Because the way you flow with your words it's just like a speech! You never fail to mesmerize with your decks or your personality man 🤘
This is such a great showcase of how awful Ugin is. This deck is really cool, centers around some criminally underused cards, and just gets CARRIED by Ugin. End of the day, Ugin being such a stupidly efficient win condition available to any color that ALSO nullifies nearly all tempo an opponent might have gained by that point homogenizes decks in a really depressing way. I have no idea why All is Dust needed to be reprinted with a game-winning planes walker attached at a cost of only 1 additional mana.
The deck did not get carried by ugin. The opponent was in a position to play ugin and not use his minus. This shouldn't really ever happen, so this is more of a fault with lvd's deck and draw in that game, because he had nothing to pressure ugin into using his minus. Any past or current 6 mana planeswalker would have done more for the sanctum deck in that position. I understand you dont like ugin, i dont either, he is very strong, but it had no place in this deck. Despite how it looked, being one turn away from ulting, it didnt help the deck do anything. Ugin is a card that played on an empty board does almost nothing compared to other top end planeswalkers. He offers no card advantage from the get go and if he is removed you have nothing to show for it.
This deck confuses me... in a good way... I had most of the cards so I put it together and changed 2-3 cards I didn't like or was missing and said "could be fun"... Somehow I went 11-0 and ranked up from gold to diamond... and I can't explain it...
