MTG Lore: Vraska the Unseen 

well who knew she'll reappear along with jace as pirates in the new set.

Vraska is like the batman of mtg, except more evil and darker. It's cool she's getting attention.

I love Plainswalkers, both as cards and their stories, especially their stories. MTG is so awesome because of the fact that each card and each set of cards is based around a story they are trying to tell. It is absolutely fantastic.

An often overlooked planes walker. Good to see her getting some attention.

Watching this video made me realize, Vraska seems more W/B then G/B. Ignoring the fact that she's from the Golgari, I mean as a character. Think about it, Vraska's job is to murder those that haven't received their punishment. Almost like a vigilantly. And stopping the natural circle of life and death even if your reasons are moral is not what green likes to do. Vraska's ultimate goal is to destroy the guilds. But unless I'm forgetting something I don't think she says it's to gain control of the plane. SoIf we follow her philosophy, then it's because the guilds have been running the plane into the ground with the constant fighting. Which also lines up with her gaining her spark. Where as a green Mage would be against big change rather trying to fix the existing system while white would cut what wasn't working, .You could even argue the guild system is better business for Her as no guilds means no more major targets or people to hire her. Maybe we'll see a abzan version in the future.

God, she really needs to be apart of a new cycle of planeswalkers. Wizards is almost dry with the storyline of the old planeswalkers! Let's see Vraska kick good ass!!!!

I've always like Varaska as a planeswalker. She has always interested me not only being the first and only golgari planeswalker (that we know of) but that she is such a fun card

This was my first duel deck I bought with my wife, we loved it.

Ravnica is one of my favourite planes and I really like all the different guilds

The fact that Vraska didn't die is intriguing , can't wait to see if she pops up in a later set.

Very sweet. I really didn't know anything about Vraska before (she was sort of one of those random Planeswalkers like Domri Rad to me). I really hope she makes a reappearance soon. She would have made a lot of sense on Theros but probably didn't want to print her two blocks in a row (since she isn't a main 'walker).

Hope to see more of Vraska in the future storylines, Wizards really needs to bring back some one-shot Planeswalkers (e.g. Tamiyo) in newer sets and storylines.

Vraska is an amazing planeswalker. It was so cool while she was on standard.

Black/Green is a great combo, especially if you run a elf tribal deck. I like to think of them as Drow usually, aggressive and willing sacrificing the weaker ones to get ahead. Vraska would be unstoppable in a black/green pump and trample combo! Ooooh I hope I win this one!

Funniest planes walker ultimate. No one even comes close to this. If you're playing green/black in commander and you don't have this you're doing something wrong with life. It always brings either laughs or victory :)

She's one of my favorite planeswalkers (Nissa's still my #1 and I'm thrilled she's being a key character in recent arcs! Fangirl moment over). She's really fun as a wild card for EDH Necra deck.

I think Vraska is interesting enough, but I think we need more information about what happened between the time she first planeswalked and her meeting with Jace before she becomes as interesting as some of the other planeswalkers. This is something I really hope Wizards expands on in an upcoming set.

I remember when she was first released and the guys at my local card shop had been taken in by the hype. She's not a bad card but I never saw her in tournaments even with those guys who had "perfect" deck ideas for her.

And now her and jace banged after the events of war of the spark. My man jace really loves black aligned chicks.

When I first started playing MTG, I was obsessed with that card. Those assassins that can win the game so easily were and even now, is extremely interesting to me. A fun planeswalker, to say the least.

Probably my second favorite walker, outside of Ashiok of course.

Aaaah, I'd love to have a copy of Vraska! She's been my favourite planeswalker along side Kiora since their release! How do you think Vraska would interact with the Eldrazi if she ever had to deal with them?
