The Simic Ezuri precon got me into EDH. A quick upgrades made it even more awesome, because screw combat, drawing cards is the real endgame. And while it isn't my favourite Commander it definitely introcuded me to my favourite color combo, Simic. Tatyova is my favourite. Lands are the best. The more lands the better.

Windgrace pulled me into commander, so it was really difficult to get a good deck running (expensive) also understanding the art of playing lands :D And Jund is just love so props to Prossh

My requirement that I decided for myself a long time ago was actually not specifically mono-Red, just that it /had/ Red and that I could play it like a Red player without feeling like I was trying to force a theme that didn't work. I personally have 6 EDH decks (all the decks I've played in these videos since we partnered with Esmond except Prossh are the shop's inventory) and because I know that the red requirement locks me out of a lot of fun choices, I try very hard to make sure my decks feel distinct from each other :) - GH Matt

I pestered a cousin who was staying in Italy to teach me how to say it and I practiced that for 3 hours until it stuck. Prossh was my first commander and my heart's always been there, so I was extremely excited when I chanced upon that actual mint Italian Kobolds of Kher Keep card back in the day. - GH Matt

Meren's effect returns it to the battlefield if you have experience counters amounting to more than the total cost of the creature. If you don't have enough experience counters, it returns the chosen creature to your hand.

Treachery would've untapped 5 lands, which means more enchantment spells, making Tuvasa lethal.

If I understand correctly, he could have played Treachery targeting Tuvasa, costing 5 mana, doing nothing except untapping 5 lands, then he could have played the rest of his turn as normal but giving Tuvasa +1 damage due to having an additional enchantment in play, which would have been exact lethal.

Hahaha. Yeah it's a 2-hour game edited down to 25 mins, so it is definitely way too much work for 2 games. We've done 2 games before when the games took less than an hour though
