Great unboxing, gonna do this one on my channel soon. Also managed to find a box at a very good price. The last pack did have a bonus card, wich is the same for all (Foil Lotus Field). I do think the single card wrappers are allways difficult to open, chance of damage, bending is allways there. Gonna use scissors myself.

I did not have the will power either. No one listens to Fblthp about hanging the packs 🤣I went to open a pack and it was open then discovered roller mark to seal the pack was right across the top of the card. I guess I got lucky on only one damaged card. Nobody should buy single packs since the foils are slightly pringled so you can tell from the feel. If you buy from a scalper, but sealed box only. To open the packs: Get the top of pack slightly open, kinda like at 14:28. Lay the pack face down on the table and pull the sides, of the packs where they join, apart. It's funny, because I found myself going down memory lane while opening these too.

My box was completely undamaged, (think I got lucky), and it came with 9 foils plus the bonus card. Lots of people are opening these with slightly crimped edges on some of the cards. There are also ink spots on some cards in opening vids.

Man you are pretty lucky to have gotten one. I was hovering over the buy button for a while and getting 404’d until they were all sold out. So brutal. Ultimately really soured me on mtg this year…

I mean, they totally did anticipate it. But they are trying to corral the fomo of their playerbase to direct them toward magic 30 999.95 dollar booster packs. “Sorry you couldn’t get the more price reasonable product, you can still celebrate by getting that MOX (unuseable, proxy) you’ve always wanted… for just a liiiiitle bit more cash…”. It’s so deliberate, it’s almost surgical.

My luck to get this product was the most luckiest I've ever been. My sleep is all the over place so I fell asleep while waiting for it then lucky woke up some time after it came out, went to the site bought it. At no point did any issue arise so then half an hour later or so I see video and comments of people complaining about trying to get it. Me just here like damn... super lucky. And yeah it sucks I think literally everyone can agree that this should of been like other secret lairs normally this should of be printing to demand.

I have yet to see an opening of these that didn’t have at least one damaged card. I think it is due to the individual wrapping. Way to go WOTC.

I’ve seen a lot of the serialized cards come out damaged. Both on RU-vid and in a few different misprint/miscut groups on Facebook. Honestly I’ve seen more damaged ones than non-damaged cards. Pretty sad

With pretty good odds at guessing it correctly too. Though, at least one of my packs was just kind of tight on the card inside and I thought it was foil when it wasn’t because of the slight curve caused by the pack squeezing a non-foil card.

Send them to BGS, PSA or another grading service, though I'd only recommend either of those first two. Be prepared for a long wait and large expense per pack!

I ordered two and received four (2 days apart), it seems Wizards doubled the amount ordered for some people, no word if it's intentional, I did order a Heads I win, Tails you lose SL, so I don't know if this is a sort of "sorry for the 1 year delay thing", people who ordered 10 also got a second order of 10, and so on.

Wouldn’t be WotC if they didn’t send Pringled cards. Seriously how hard is it to fix that, especially for a premium product? I have Pokémon cards from childhood with 0 curve.

Doesn't seem to be a problem with textured foils or foil-etched cards. But it's still a chronic problem with regular foils. I wonder what they do differently with Pokémon?

@@MTGUnpacked You’re right; etched cards seem to be fine. Tbh it’s part of the reason I don’t care for foils. Oftentimes if I get a foil hit I sell it for a premium, buy the non-foil, the pocket the rest! Although these days the foils only add like $0.02 of value. Yugioh foils don’t curl either. My guess is WotC switched to a cheaper method of foiling at some point (around Commander Legends). Maybe they’re in a multi-year contract with the manufacturer who knows.

I was low-key happy to not get any of the big hits in foil when I opened mine. I bought this to play with the cards, and I love the art, so it’s nice to not have to pack these into books on a shelf for a year to get them to be (and then stay) flat.

I love this product, as always with WOTC and Hasbro, horrible execution on selling the product. Maybe one day they will learn, also a little pricey for the average person to enjoy. I really wish they had released something that EVERY player could realistically obtain.

Got mine, was expecting an actual advent calendar thing not just a basic small box with packs just stacked on each other which you for sure couldn't just open one a day like a Calendar and putting pointless little stickers in there lol. Pretty cheap. Even more cheap is they could've sleeved these ones just in case before putting them in packs, because then they would be wrapped one could even say Chaos Wrapped? Keeping the foils extra safe. It don't matter much to me since I am for sure selling my on sealed but if I was tempted to just open it certainly lost me. Secret lairs are cool but seriously it wouldn't cost them much just to send them sleeved, many shops do that when you purchase singles.

I can't even go to watch this. But here is my thumbs up. This product just made me bitter at WOTC/Hasbro. Only "celebrate" a 30th once and it leaves people bitter. Brutal WOTC brutal.
