I ran into the same issue for storing bottles in the main compartment with the tray getting in the way. As a dedicated box for my items, I put some black shoe polish on the top of the lids, placed the bottles in the case, placed the tray on top to mark where the bottles would hit the tray, dremeled out the tray using the black polish as a guide and the packed (heavier) tray now holds the bottles in place from spilling over. A little sacrifice but the holes are a snug fit and no small items fall through. MTM cases are the way to go. They're my go-to for most items.

I've been considering one of those black powder revolvers for certain open carry events since it's not a "firearm" under my state and the federal law. Too many projects going on at home to buy guns right now so it's more fantasy at the moment. MTM makes decent products so with your realistic expectations I think it'll serve you well for a long time. Looking forward to learning more about the revolver in future videos!
