The way they straight-up drastically cut some of their hair and bleached it and changed their whole look sometimes just for however long it took to make this... Omg I could just imagine nowadays. They would be like, "So how does it feel to be BTS?!!!!!! Now.. we're going to give you Botox, double eyelid surgery, just a liiittle nose job.. you won't even notice." 🤤 Maybe that's exactly what we need right now 😆

It really is! Kids don’t know what it’s like to be so excited about music, waiting weeks sometimes months to buy an album that had singles released months earlier, stores would open up at midnight to sell the really big albums there would be people in line for hours waiting for stores to open up, all ur music information cam from mtv, mtv was ur social media so we were so far removed from famous people it wasn’t in the rhelm of possibilities to really ever meet or talk to ur favorite band. When you wanted to really keep up with a band you had to be in their fan club getting news letters or if u we’re lucky enough to have a computer their email newsletters and go on their website. If you didn’t do any of that then the only way you would know when they were coming to town pretty much was mtv saying the band is gonna be touring America starting this date then the radio stations we’re pretty much it. Then everyone started downloading music for free and everything started to change! Then RU-vid and streaming came made it even worse then social media came and the artist to fan disconnect was mostly gone you could now know everything about ur favorite musician including what they had for breakfast, you could message them on social media and sometimes they will say what’s up, sometimes they comment on fan posts, they make videos and do all these podcasts with relatively unknown media people there are many people that were just a regular person not involved in music at all and a year later they are intervening famous people and all the live streams people can pay to talk in real time to artists which might not seem like a big deal but it really makes people not as interested in music entirely, people get burned out basically because everything they want from their favorite band other then seeing a live show is at their fingertips on their phone all day long, if there is a live stream they set their phones timer and it doesn’t matter if they are at work or whatever they have no reason to miss it and they won’t. When the band comes to town they don’t feel the need to go every time or maybe not at all they will say oh I’ll just watch it on RU-vid or something because they feel a pretty strong connection with the band it’s not like before when you would buy tickets the moment they came out because you felt you might never get the chance to see them again this was ur only chance for that band connection. Now that it’s hard for bands to make money unless they are huge like a Drake it becomes a hobby because they need to work a regular job so they do it as a hobby in their spare time and the music suffers just imagine if being a doctor to ur doctor was a hobby. Also now that band’s largely only make money from touring and merch the record labels are doing 360 deals where they get a cut of everything so it’s even worse. Back in the 90’s smaller bands could make a decent living because people bought music but not anymore if ur not pretty big ur not making money.

Thumbs up if this should happen with Nickelodeon and Disney Channel shows! This is my third best show, Nickelodeon’s iCarly’s, new dance anthem in case anyone is wondering.

He’s my fiancé’s cousin and honestly he’s a really nice guy definitely not as preppy anymore but he has 3 kids and is such a good dad.
