If you don't know exactly how talented Namsaknoi was. This will prove he had endured a lot for his Muaythai career. >> Saenchai has 86.81% win percentage (349 fights and 303 wins) >> Buakaw has 86.90% (275 fights and 239 wins) >> Rodtang has 83.69% (319 fights and 267 wins) >> Namsaknoi has 93.33%!! (300 fights and 280 wins!!) Such a great and underrated fighter. His nickname is 'The Emperor'

Haha, I wish we sparred like this in Holland. This technical, 20% way is much better than the all out wars we have here. I always try to tell my sparring partners to spar easy, but as soon as I catch them clean once (even with no power behind it), their ego gets the best of them and we're in a war again

Same happens with me but im a hard puncher ..i punch on his left eye and it got happen and i wasnt sorry on that ..i asked him many times to calm down but that mf was crazy so he gets ..but now he spars easily after 6 months 😂😂😂

Espada kurosaki every gym here is like that, its not really a bad thing. I think you learn mire form serious sparring (going 80-90%)

@@Adam-B543 You also end up being constantly injured. The Thais have been doing it this way for over 100 years... you think you know better than them?

@India douche: so you hit him hard and you are not sorry and you asked him to calm down? If I were him, I'd change partner on the spot.

all hard sparring has given me is headaches, broken foot twice, and a broken rip and bruises everywhere.. technical sparring has helped me improve, I can train more often cause my body isn't hurting everywhere and I dont have to take time off because of a stupid injury by some meathead trying to end me

The Thai's usually spar light 60% because a) They usually fight every week/few weeks and b) It's part of their culture to go lighter on head strikes but harder on body shots clinches, trips etc. The Dutch guys are famous for hard sparring. Relatively light head shots to full blast on the body. Great for conditioning the body but easier to do when you don't fight every week like the Thai's.

Thanks for the video.. I just have one question.. when you throw the kicks you get your hand(guard) down(the hand on the side of the kick, if u understand what i want to say). I know that by this way u give more power and stability on your kick but... Wouldnt it be more safe, to keep the guard up? Cause while kicking, you are wide open for a punch.

Human yes they teach you and try to get rid of that habit of dropping your hands so you don’t get caught

@@xanderhall8366 not at all lol, this is blatantly wrong. if you have the right timing and distance you should always swing your arm. kicking with your guard up creates a shitty kick that does nothing

To be honest i think this is good for a completely traditional thai style but honestly if you can be on the outside of your opponents rear hand st all times you are at a huge advantage so id say the sqauring straight up evenly train tracks isnt the best idea. I mean if your just beginning its important but more advanced practitioners shouldnt stay on a straight line.
@marek4940
@marek4940 7 лет назад
He is right. Orthodox, southpaw, doesn't matter. You should also avoid being in the attack line, which means avoiding his stronger side or/and moving sideways. Sometimes opponent both sides are very strong. If you disagree then try to stay in the center line with a guy like Crocop and don't forget to start a stopwatch :) Good luck :)
@mdexter3722

Brimuaythai ..exactly, if you try and work yourself to a position just outside my power hand??? You will be under constant attack from power body and leg kicks, not to mention the short overhand counter to your jab... Either constantly moving into the path of big power shots has rattled his brain a bit, or he just did a poor job of getting his real point across.
@counterkidnapping1737

Marek Kisiel hell no Crocop can disable your leg with his kick. Look at him when he execute the low leg kick he moves to the side to
@TelowVaughnMusic
@TelowVaughnMusic 6 лет назад
yeah you step to the outside when you strike, but squaring up in a way where your rear is in line with his rear leg would ensure that you almost never land your left hand if both guys are orthodox
