@slipknotcommute5196 Hey man, can I ask a bit of advice? What is best in your opinion for learning street defence, I was threatened and punched in the street and I didnt know what to do..Boxing or Muay Thai? Hope you can help thanks
Saenchai is good as he mastered the art of breathing and that makes him really calm in matches. You can see he flows easily and doesnt stumble when he teaches. Very calm and strong fighter
@@IsraelCountryCubeSo whether it is boxing, kickboxing or muay thai the basic stance is your non dominant foot in from of your dominant foot because you have your stronger side at the back so you can generate more power when you a cross or a kick with your right leg. So Orthodox would be for someone right handed, left foot forward, right foot back and Southpaw is basically the opposite for left handed people.
@@IsraelCountryCubefor any striking martial art (boxing, kickboxing, muay thai etc.), the left foot is usually put forward while the right foot is back. This is hence called the “orthodox stance” as people are usually right handed. Anyone that has their right foot forward is known as a southpaw.
My Muaythai teacher boasted me that Muaythai fighter trained harder than those from the recon. While he might exaggerate quite a bit, it's true that they usually trained until nearly to the point of collapsing quite often. (Espeacially during the preparation for their fight in the ring.)
It’s because of the army culture. Muay Thai is a basic skill for Siamese Army. If you want to join the king army, Mastering Muay Thai is one of the requirements. So that why the ancient army training style still continues today just made it nicer for everyone. Otherwise every trainees will be covered with there owns blood every day. LoL
The way they effortlessly glide the leg underneath -omg! Beautiful. No way you kick a man's legs out from underneath him like that without years of practice.
Ogni volta che lo vedo ..i suoi video mi rapiscono ❤ troppo forte, talento e in allenamento da una vita wow che fighter, quando dicono leggendario non sbagliano per niente
the one who discovered saenchai, Somrak Kamsing, was pretty damn good too. an olympic gold medalist for thailand and no one could lay hands on him in the ring. he was a master of elbows and could execute spinning elbows at the most unexpected angles.
That's my guy. Saenchai. Doing what Tony Jaa showed us way before Ong bak. So good he had to fight guys 2-3 weight classes higher on many occasions. I love this guy. And his temperament was outstanding. He is a real credit to martial arts period.
This guy is the absolute goat of all modern era combat sports ! Though i don't doubt any of his knowledge and skill set ...i get tired of these demonstrations where the other guy is not reacting .
This guy is a Muaythai Master indeed. Watch lot of his fight and see the beautiful moves, kick, and punch he do. Yet he seem to be funny and silly too😂😂😂
i wish more muay thai fighters grappled more fluidly like this - muay thai fluid movements like this in general is more rare to see. another greatly underrated muay thai fighter who was a fluid grappler was Dany Bill; he fought in the golden era. he had beautiful muay thai and his fluidity and grace rivalled that of the thais. he trained out of samart’s gym, so he trained sparred against the best of the best at that time.
