Wow at last we see some practical Ninjutsu that can actually save lives. Very good job Anthony. I like when it´s not about historical correctness but about actual skills you can use. Forgive us for finding much of the more academic sides of the art a bit boring.

Wonderful video Antony! Definitely the highlight of my day! Never expected the saw in your mouth! Quick question. I saw you used a band of metal that you cut. Can you please recommend where we could get a piece like you had available? I would like to try this!

Absolutely loved this video . . . interesting story that includes a novel escape technique. I have seen CIA escape tools hidden in tubes for the rear end, hollow teeth , etc however this was something new. I wonder if you could paint the saw a pink gum color to make it even harder to detect. Keep up the great work, even though I concentrate on modern ninja / spy techniques, I am well aware that you can always learn from history and adapt it to the modern day. I love your books as well. I am on Pinterest as The Modern Ninja.

Come to think of it, the saw could be made up of modern polymers or even ceramics.

I wonder if they’d actually go for the ties in the bamboo cage with something like that.
@canadafree2087
@canadafree2087 7 месяцев назад
Yes, as that is the quickest method. Today you can still get micro saws as well as diamond rods. The weakest point to a lock is often the Chinese metal hasp, so like the ties, you cut through the softer hasp and not the hardened shackle.

I have worked in a couple of prisons in my life and I have learned some amazing tools and techniques. This is as good as modern escape techniques and it's hidden very well. Good job Anthony!

Great video antony, i keep notes and this was note worthy. Is there a name of the saw
@canadafree2087
@canadafree2087 7 месяцев назад
Very cool, I hope you still teach it 7 years later. I watched a WWII training video that has a captured spy sitting in his boxers (would be naked in real life) and they were checking every hem and every button. Escape tools can be bought today, but how to carry them is not as easy to find. The easiest to hide are also the easiest to find. With any escape from kidnapping is escaping the first scene before they take you to the more secure second scene.

I'll be honest when he asked where do you think he has hidden it. I assumed the prison wallet. It made me think I didn't want to be a ninja anymore. So when he pulled the saw out of his mouth. I was all like relieved.
