When I walk around the entire Salton Sea in June 2015 one of the hazards I will encounter is deep, dangerous mud. I estimate that I will have to walk through approximately 20 miles of this mud and I needed a way to get through it safely and quickly. In my test-walks through the dangerous mud areas I average less than 1 mile per hour, and a pace that slow will throw off my schedule. I found these "Mudder Boots" and decided to give them a try.
