And this is the reason why I avoid mud life like the plague lol. Great content but I could feel Doug’s frustration flashing back to my old memories of mud riding and break downs lol
By far one of the best of the best of your guys' videos. Took a shitty situation and made the best of it, kept attitudes up(atleast on cam), and kept the humor high.
I couldn't stop laughing but i still cant figure out why there was no winch on the stuck razor and he went through a hole he knew he would get stuck in. First tool in the belt always a winch a 4500 winch...period. we ride swamps in florida cant go one day without it. Great video.
Just finished watching for the second time. definitely my favorite video from 2018. It inspires me to push my limits. I’m going to make chicken Parmesan and ride the go carts to celebrate the new year. I hope someone at Polaris is watching and appreciates what you do for them.
Sous laughing like a schoolgirl, Mudlyfe ice breaking / breaking portals, and playing slip n’ slide in barely above freezing water with your buds. Can’t think of a better way to spend a day! Best bud lyfe!
Shout out from east coast Canada, The Maritimes. I watch every episode, you guys are awesome and you'd fit in good over here. You guys should make it over here; anytime of year is good, but we've got thousands of clicks of really nice groomed trails in the winter with everything you need along the trail ( fuel, restaurants, lodges for overnight, guides) you name it we got it. We've got a super solid off-road community and a lot of infrastructure and support. Everyone should check it out, it's well worth it. I've been off-roading all over North America for over 20 yrs now and godwilling 30yrs more. Thanks for the awesome videos guys.
All I want know is why didn’t you give the camera to the girls and you help. Lol. !!! And one more thing is sous part polar bear. Lol. He took that cold water like a champ !!! Lol. You guy definitely need to set up a toolbox. Lmao. You guys are awesome!!!
Great video as always. Tool kit needs to have at least a extra 20 foot strap to go along with the winch. Carry tires plugs and a small compressor, a can of starter fluid and a lighter to blow tire back onto bead if popped off. Few hand tools. The sizes you’d need for small trail repairs. Breaker bar and socket for lugs. If everyone carries something, you’ll have everything. Zip ties and electrical tape too.
Someone hasta be the boyscout outa the bunch 🤘😁 Next on sxs blog ✅ Murphy’s Law Trail recovery tools & accessories needed to escape a F*hole I’ve bought stuff on rides sense 09 Rzr 15,000 miles riding and almost never need it but I think that’s why it doesn’t break down.. kuz I have it 🤯👍
Great learning experience! Also I’ve found when I get water in the cvt it works best to shut the engine off and let it drain then start the engine to dry it all out. You guys are awesome and love all of your videos!
Absolutely love your videos! you guys are so funny and the videos you put together are so entertaining and informative .. THANKS again from the UK ... keep them coming :-)
Awesome video.... no offense, think was one of ur best... because was like real time events... and quite educational. Really liked how you guys adapted to unplanned situations. Was totally great. (Just like life... live n learn ) You guys are truly awesome. Keep up the great videos. 😁😉
I agree with you Robert Jerger. Might have been the best video yet. You said it perfectly! Not only did you learn from this adventure guys you put on a great show!!!👏👏👏👍👍👍
Rick Terrill it needs long travel suspension 34 outlaws internal gear reduction 6 inch portal gear lift. 2 inch bracket lift and best shocks. And a truck winch front and rear with dual battery. Flat bed.
Is horrible that that happened but it was an entertaining video... yeah I feel like mudding is a whole lot of extra work but I'm excited you guys are willing to give it a shot🖒
The sheer number of times you guys mentioned "watch the belt" or "the belt is letting go" in this video is why I am on the "never a belt" bandwagon. Happy to watch your Carnage though. Thanks guys!
Nice video guys of real world mud scenarios. This looks so familiar...I learned the hard way also. Now I only hook up to someone like you did and use the winch to help winch both bikes out at the same time (Use snatch block.). Never will I use the power of the bike again without winch helping lol.
@@SXSBlog now way bruh! Just want to see real life. I've been stuck like chuck and it's good to know even the big time famous peeps still have bad days lol.
I love how da "camera" guy gets to direct. Oh man I have to give the "Muddie" award to Doug for keeping his cool with no tool snatch equipment and not dropping the f bomb every 1 second! I bet Rick could have with his bare hands pulled the polie out of the mud hole . I was right there with ya guys just warmer and dry that's all. The other "Muddie" award goes out the the ladies. Sitting there helmets on have I bet a conversation not pertaining the the situation at hand. Well done ladies! As always gentlemen great video thanks for bringing us along. I know beast mode was like hey you didn't take me......
When I go riding (mostly mudding and trails) I make sure to have at least two 30' tow straps, several shackles, a snatch block, and different size tree savers. Makes a situation like this stress free and potentially save the units from breaking.
Hope you guys do a video on fixing/replacing the portal I'd like to see that. You should also do a video on how to keep water out of the belt shroud. Like better seals or a snorkel on the belt exhaust.
You guys running some kind of radios in your helmets? I noticed the antenna looking things on the side and your cameras picked up the echo from them...lol. Just wondering what set up it is if so.
waders dudes! staying dry is to stay warm. Been there know the misery. Great video---proof winches are worth their weight in gold. Don't leave home without em.
Love your videos. Have always thought you guys were nuts for not running winches on all of your machines. Maybe carry a portable unit that you can hook into the receiver hitch and switch from one sxs to the other?
Allot of people have had lots of trouble with portals in cold water the gaskets on them are junk I guess when you get portals the first thing you do is get better gaskets. Tough ass ranger though after all that
Rodney Duran or three gasket failing and Sandy water getting into the bearing and stressing it or Sandy water chunks making a gear chop off and lock up like 20 other people I've heard the same thing happen to
