i'm from north carolina and yes, i find riding dirtbikes in mud fun. although in situations like this, it's not as fun considering you have to literally walk your bike across, but it's still fun getting your bike dirty.
because its a trail bike, and those are trails. you can always clean a flooded engine. i flooded mine and i just ran 6 or so bottles of oil through it. if you ever flood your engine, just buy a shit ton of cheap oil (thickness/sinthetic/ect doesnt matter) and just run it through your bike until it stops coming out watery/milky. its a lot more cost-effective than getting it re built.

@Jagethemage well since his muffler was pretty much swallowed by the mud an water, if the bike stalled it would of sucked water into the intake then you have a problem
This should be called: "how to flood a dirt bike". I did the exact same thing once and it got flooded and now it's ruined with a seized motor now. I would do that if I were them.
From above the air box, under the seat, If water had gotten into his air box and sucked into his filter the bike would have shut off completely, It doesn't even sputter meaning no water is getting into the air filter.
@Polarisjetskilover It's only a wee 150cc, I'm sure if they had something a little bigger like maybe a CRF450, which is a little less powerful than a RM250 they'd be fine.
@kevinshuffield flooding a bike is when you flood it of fuel, so it can't burn it because there is not enough air to burn with the fuel... it's nothing to do with water. it's flooding the engine with fuel not water.
The dislikes are from the people who didn't make it through lol. He isn't damaging his bike idiots! The airbox is only open on top so water can only get in if it's up past the side plastics. He didn't suck any water in, the bike didn't even sputter, if he had sucked water the bike would have died.
Ya I have that problem with my cr 125r I was going to git a new top end and see if It would do it.our my second thought. Maybe the clutch isn't on right
Not that your a bad rider or anything but here is a little advice, back up a couple feet then you will make it thru alot easier, and lift your feet up when you go thru, then you won't have soggy socks lol
@j7devilz it would be spewing oil out of this mystery hole long before filling up with water...so the problem would be evident. Why be a hater? His bike, his money, his decision.
i went through mudd so deep on my 1996 rt 100 yamaha that i need to put a snorkel on it made from pvc pipe and i dont ever touch the ground with my legs
The people who think Kawasaki is "cool", they only think that because of the lime green color and that they are in partnership with "Monster", not for their performance or how tough they are, so just go with Honda, tough bikes!!!!
@btyz85rider please explain how bouncing a bike up and down on the suspension will blow the top end?? do you mean in case he hydraulics the engine,or do you believe that the bouncing action causes some sort of failure of the valve train?
