Hey Molly A great way to practice with your bait caster is remove hooks from a lure, get in the back yard and just cast away. It’s a great way to improve without snags etc. Love your videos.

Another awesome adventure thank you If you’re right handed you should switch the handle to the opposite side of the spinning reel then when you cast you will be ready to reel immediately. If you’re left handed then you’re good.

That there was the honey hole. Molly don’t go too close the water edge to release the fish in croc county, just toss the fish back in from a few meters back from the water.

Keep at it with the baitcaster, turn the brakes on to max to reduce the Birdsnes, then as you gain confidence let it out. It looked pretty good for a novice, well done 👍

Should have taken the Hilux, whomever convinced you it not responsive enough, then clamber into a 79, you'd been fine in the lux. I'd never relax enough to cast a line there myself, good on you, go girl.
