Wow, great finds Adam, especially that local beer. That crab in the glass vase shaped thing reminded me of when I left my mudlarking finds in my shed overnight before cleaning only to find a dead crab on the floor! That's why you always rinse the mud out of bottles in the river before you take them home! 😂🦀

And,ah,the rails project,hmm,I seem to know a bit about that😅 A legendary learning curve is taking place,and,in the end,you shall hold “VICTORY “ in your hands!! Well,as long as your hands aren’t steam scalded🤣😉

Mudpies cut down and recycle those broken cods into vases or containers. Saves all the lovely embossing and colour.

An ammunition box clasp was what the first thing you picked up looked like to me 🙂

Those are some cool finds. I think the wooden piece you found at abt 19:14 may be part of a handle to an old shovel. Loved the bits of broken pottery and especially the lid - reminds me of English pearlware pottery of the early 1800s. Thanks for taking us along!
