Join me as I take a trip out with fellow mudlark David Nolan to search for history in the mud in the Medway. This video was made in the summer of 2019. In this video I find a horse skull in the mud which I am pretty sure is very old! Im also fortunate enough to find some Roman artefacts and many other mysterious and wonderful items which I then do some research on.
If you are able to help with ID on any of my finds then please comment below. Im always delighted to hear from you.
You can follow me on twitter and instagram @tidelineart
Thank you for watching.
See you soon.

these are not wolf teeth, they are tushes, you almost never hear people calling them canines. Wolf teeth are small vestigial teeth that usually erupt right in front of the back molars. They do interfere with the bit and getting them diagnosed, if not erupted is a nightmare.

As always a fun and interesting video. Thank you so much for taking us along. I have deterioration of the neck and spine and am having a particular bad weekend. I really needed something to get my mind off the discomfort, your video was the right medicine :-) . I recognized the mahjong tile as a game piece, just didn't know what game lol. Something to keep in mind when storing early plastic pieces you find - don't store them with metal. Metal causes celluloid - the lighter weight plastics to deteriorate. Have a great week, see you next Sunday.

Hello, Nicola. I am watching some of your older videos as I haven't seen them all yet. The horse skull was quite interesting. I didn't know they had canine teeth either, how amazing, probably left over from some ancestor. I love that you video the birds you see while out larking about. The swans are very beautiful. There was a shocking and terrible news story today from upper New York state that was about a swan. So seeing that lovely swan you spoke to was nice. You identified the Egyptian geese in one of your videos, they are so exotic looking. I've never seen one but was amazed to find out that there are some in the US. You have so many birds that I do not recognize. It would be great if you identified some of the others now and then. Lovely finds as always. When you go to see the Northern Mudlarks in the Spring or Summer, will you be bringing your Mum? I love the Adventures of Mum's and their Girls together! Sharing the excitement of a "treasure hunt" and the love of history with the next generation! 👵👩👧👱

Wow the Roman pottery is beautiful and the horse skull is magnificent! You always find such amazing things. I seem to be limited to one really good thing from a trip to the Thames but you find such unusual and intriging objects. It could make a person jealous but as you are the Queen of mudlarking it is only to be expected! :)

@@juanitaconlin195 Are you that ignorant? Personally, I came here to get away from politics and your ignorance just sucks me right in! You apparently have no clue as to why we the people who support Trump the way we do! For being the hypocrite you are, lets say we start with Prince Andrew and the minor he's seen with when he visited Jeffrey Epstein's manor? OR, how about Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles's affair long before Princess Dianne's horrible death? I suppose I could relate a little about Princess Margaret and Peter Townsend, you know, the lead guitarist in the "Who" who prey'd on little girls, but what would that accomplish? I really could go on and on, but, hey, like I said, I only came here to get away from politics! STFU and stay out of American politics, especially when you don't know shit about it! OH, before you elaborate as to my know how, I am from Wiltshire and settle here in America in the mid 80's! The only thing you know about Trump is what the fake news tells you!
