understand that but offroad trucks are more usefull cose you can use than on/offroad, but road truck cant go in mud

Every single Russian vehicle you see in this game was designed initially for military use, with Soviet priorities being what they were. The more you know... I honestly don't know how you could look at any of the Russian vehicles in this game and not think "military," but I suppose that's a discussion for another day.

Scott Hodorff You should look into vehicles like the Kraz-255 and Ural-4320. They're fantastic pieces of hard-core engineering. No fancy shit, no frills, just brute-force, bottom-line-up-front goodness that has stood the test of time. There's a reason why those vehicles have remained virtually un-changed over the years. You could buy a brand new Kraz that looks and functions exactly the same as the ones made 40 years ago, and this is because they just work. Like typical Soviet designs, they look pretty damn ugly, but they're extremely reliable. If you compare Soviet-era vehicles to pretty much any era of Western designs, the Soviet designers only cared about making it work. The body-work is just there to cover the stuff underneath it. However, American designers are only really concerned with building and maintaining a brand-image. Actual performance comes almost dead-last on their priority list. They're like the Shermans from WWII. All they really cared about was how many of them they could build and sell. There was a time when quality sold vehicles, but then the invention of modern-day advertising came around. You used to have to build good stuff to sell it, but these days, you can just convince the gullible fucks that watch tv into buying any old crap. That's why modern-day commercials don't sell the product anymore. They know that they can just throw a bunch of feel-good bullshit your way and most people will just eat it up and ask for seconds. This is why I like the old Soviet trucks as much as I do. They eschew all that bullshit, since if they didn't design a good product, they probably would have been executed or thrown in a Gulag. With consequences for failure like that, you can see why those vehicles are as capable as they are. They just had to work, no matter what. The designers' very lives and the lives of their families literally depended on it working. This kind of obsessive, circumstances be damned work-ethic also resulted in the development of the AK-47, which is the most ubiquitous firearm design the world has ever seen.

They don't realize Theres a big difference between licensed vehicles and mods. Licensed vehicles you know what you are getting and manufacturers where involved to make sure everything done right. Mods could crash system of have viruses or create a back door into your system.
