@@mikeywilliams194 I won't tell you it sounds great, but it definitely is something. If I were to do it again, I woulda kicked the resonator off as well.
Muffler dlete way way better.The resonator actually balance out what sound "resonates".If you remove the resonator you get awful drone and that nasty rasp after 4k rpm and shake your car apart.Make sure to weld nice tips after the muffler delte--way better.

Stock manifolds and y pipe and flex 2 3/4 inch single straight mid pipe dumped right before the fuel tank in my murano no muffler has no rasp . so no cat no res no rasp .
So I’m Z is a cat back system where it has its cats and then straight pipe down and imma tell you this it sounds nothing like yours mine pops burbles so much it’s insane and it’s insane when I do full throttle.
I have the exact same setup and it sounds fantastic, props to you broski good move I’m hella happy with mine and saved moneeeyyy I was gonna get a tomei but this is perfect imo at least for a while
Ryan Nelson so mine is a mixture of titanium and stainless steel Bc I bought a exhaust didn’t like it so cut that up to get a better sound and it pops burbles and is loud loud
I had my DE's back box removed - you said that 'it won't wake up your neighbours in the morning'. I'm telling you bro, my neighbours absolutely hate me. But then again I live in the suburbs in Northern England, UK and everyone on my street just drives 1.2 Ford Fiestas and similar small crappy cars 😔
If I ever get a car like this, I'm definitely gonna need to muffle the sound a bit. I complain about loud cars and motorcyles already, so it would be hypocritical for me to get a sports car and have it be loud as fuck.
I have a 2021 charger sxt and wanna straight pipe it and replace the mid muffler with super 10’s. Will straight piping it affect my car’s engine in any negative way?
I recently got a muffler delete on my 2005 Cadillac DeVille which has a 4.6 L V8, The cold start up sound great but after it warms up and is driving it's not very loud. Do y'all think straight pipes ( just a resonator delete) would make it alot louder all the time?
yes a decent amount louder. i feel like a resonator delete makes a bigger difference than a muffler delete but deleting both and replacing with a straight pipe would sound so loud
ive just always disliked the sound of straight pipes on a v6 unless its cammed. just really raspy and high pitch while the muffler delete is a low rumble.
@@xtcmxm578 the exhaust tips are the little pieces of piping on the end of the "raw" exhaust pipe that essentially spread out the exhaust gases. From what I've seen a 4in tip sounds great with muffler delete and that's what I'm planning on my 08 g35x with resonators to keep that raspy tone from coming up. To me that shit sounds like a civic not a nice low rumble like it does with stock exhaust minus mufflers and tips.
Oi Oi. New viewer but I thought a muffler delete was almost a straight through. Where's my logic wrong? I'm assuming the second half of the vid was also a catless too? Just want some advice on exhausts. Drive an mgf but want to remove the back box for aesthetics. Tbh the cars an ex racer but I'm not at that stage yet... Yet
Imagine this is your exhaust* starting from the engine to the muffler, cat->resonator->muffler, a straight pipe is deleting all of them, muffler delete and you’ll still have the resonator and cat.
