The dual Flowmaster FlowFX was by far the best for me. I like the lower, deeper rumble as oppose to when it's high pitched and whiny. It's probably the most expensive option too SMH
The motordyne is close to $2,000. They have a sign out front that says "truck duals starting at $200" so if that means custom true duals, then I'm guessing true duals for a car are pretty similar, plus two $50 flowfx mufflers, and the x-pipe (which is probably like $30-50), so like $200+50+50+50= $350
I’ve got a Motordyne XYZ into a 3 inch straight, single exit xforce muffler. Sounds amazing, deep tone, not too loud, but definitely improvement over stock👌

I’m the new owner of the 2007 with the invidia exhaust system...I bought last week, in Tennessee, where this was filmed, not that far away...Same color, same rims (just has a high temp powder coat on em now) even the same ending number on the license plate, wtf 😂
@@vaikin7573 Fantastic, you saw the temperature was good in the first clip. The second clip id bet a 350Z on that the engine is cold. But I guess your experience lacks with V6's and VQ's in particular because they don't fall in revs that fast if the car is warm. See, jump between clip 1 and 2 and even you will notice, if the smoke from the exhaust in clip 2 wasn't obvious enough for you. And I'll tell you, if the guy didn't do a hidden flywheel swap in betwee clip 1 and 2, AND also washed the whole car filling the exhaust with water to make up for the obvious clouds coming out of it, sorry mr Trytocorrect, your absolutely wrong :)
There's a science to exhaust systems. Which is why the Motordyne system designed for the car with a resonator and 2 helmholtz resonators sounds good and the rest (sans Invidia) sound awful and raspy.
I agree the Motordyne sounds the best. I also agree on the science stuff, but there is nothing wrong with the customized sound from the others. The straight pipes sounded decent on this as well (which is odd to me because I usually do not like straight piped exhaust).
14:16 This is the same sound i have on my 2004 G35X. Except i have test pipes, Vhr y pipe, and muffler delete. I still have my oem resonator and exhaust manifolds
Honestly the exhaust I had on my car I loved! It was the hks replica kit lol it sounded so good. No raspiness just a nice loud deep sound. And then I also for the air intake had a z-tube with pop charger and for some reason whenever I would hit those high RPMs at a high speed it sounded like I had a turbo spooling up

@@jacksonvaught5043 that'll definitely give you rasp as from what I heard. I went with a custom exhaust setup with no resonator and an amazon muffler and it sounds amazing for me with barely any rasp. Still have stock cats but soon will be getting resonated test pipes for minimum rasp.👌🏼
I have resonated test pipes and full dual tip tomie, dual was super expensive, I also have tomie y pipe and cat back. Be warned they call it a cat back but its not its a axle back y pipe is sold separately. Any way Stupid loud I wouldn't recommend decatting it go high flow cats. I only went that way as one of my cats were dead so cheap way was get resonated tested pipes. But I will be going back to cobra high flow cats . But def love the dual tomie. My recommendation is high flow cats After market y pipe, I wouldn't bother with the tomie y pipe save yourself £700. Dual tomie do you have them in the usa we only had the duals late last year. I did have single but sold that and to get the dual tip tomie.
Honestly, they’re cheaper and still just as fun. Only people who will tell you it’s a mistake are the manual purists. I always go for mt but auto z’s are still fun and at the end of the day, you do what makes you happy
I hate super loud sounds so the first clip to me sounds good although it’s not as loud on cam as it might be in real life can anybody tell me how loud it actually is? I need to know.
missing all the good exhausts, half of them are hack setups tbh.. little to no power gains for noise (that doesn't capture the Chewbacca playing the trumpet) .. even switching the cats for HF/test pipes drastically changes the sound for better or worse dependent on the pairing. these setups are comparable to just throwing test pipes on.. which you would actually make power with lol. I'd understand if it was "budget exhaust setups" (minus the motordyne). resourceful video for people interested in different exhaust sounds/ideas!
Now that sound sounds really good coming out of one of these cars but a V6 Camaro it sounds almost identical it doesn't look good it sounds like s*** to me
If you can't afford a real exhaust just wait and save your money don't do any of these, Lol the only exhaust that was DECENT was the half way done motordyne all that other back yard shit is 🗑
