Today I’m making a matching mug rug (coaster for a coffee cup) and a mug cozy.
This one attaches with a button and elastic.
The fabric needed for the mug rug is:
6” square of main fabric
8” square of trim fabric
6” square batting (I used two pieces of thin batting with fusible adhesive)
The fabric and items for the mug cozy should probably have been:
10” x 4” of main fabric
10” x 4” of trim fabric
9.5” x 3.5” of batting (I used two pieces of thin batting with fusible adhesive)
4” of 1/4” elastic
1 button

In the video I actually used 9” pieces.
