This man has every right to be sour about his WWE run, but all he shows is love and respect for both the business and the people in it. PLUS he is a happily retired wrestler living his life to the fullest, able to have put it all behind him in the best way possible. A really rare sight.

Even as a 13 year old kid I loved this guy and appreciated his work, to me he wasn't a heel because everything he was saying was the truth! To think he was only 23 or 24 when he left, to be that good that young, imagine how good he would've become as he got older and more experienced. He was only on the main roster for about 8 months and people still talk about him to this day, just shows what an impact he made. This is one of my best friends when I first started a Ovw along with Johnny Jeter, Chris Cage, and Nova and Kevin, Fertig and Travis Tomko and Renee Dupree and Mickey James. Mark is not lying about how good he was at Ovw‘s gimmick they had for him at the time called “this year‘s model Mark Magnus“ they honestly could’ve put that on television the next week for raw/SmackDown and we would be seeing a very different story about him today and wrestling history in my opinion. They also screwed the pooch royally on Johnny Jeter! That everybody and their mother could see was one of the best selling baby faces and high flyers that we were all comparing to a modern day Ricky Morton at the time. And that’s no hyperbole! These guys were really that damn good! And they both busted their ass for years without a wrestling contract, but kept up with everyone of us that were under contract until WWE finally, signed them both. Would love to see Marc either as an backstage producer or even an on-air manager/GM at some point! So glad I got to meet both him and Daivairi at the first WrestleCon years after his departure from the company. Such nice guys.

Muhammad Hassan made a bigger impact in 7 months than Dolph Ziggler did in 20 years!

As good as this man was at his job, the greatest foreign heel of all time was played by Ed Farhat (The Shiek)

@kenterminateddq5311 - I have never seen - or heard of - The Iron Sheik sticking a pencil in somebody's eye socket. Also, The Iron Sheik never threw fire in somebody's face. Everything is debatable. Some people might pick Abdullah The Butcher, or Ivan Koloff

A great interview. Mark seems like an awesome dude. Maybe one day, we'll get a Muhammad Hassan & Daivari cameo appearance on RAW or Smackdown. One can only hope. Excellent job, Chris. Still waiting on Lisa Moretti, aka Ivory (hint hint). Well done, my friend.

WWE should have kept him. He was such a great character, and they had a missed opportunity with him. It was not his fault what happened in real life. He was playing a too good enough character, I wish he was still in WWE. I hope they decide to make him A. DLC character in the next game or making appearance in the Royal Rumble.

I love it when wrestlers end up with a happy ending in life. I'm happy that Marc is so satisfied with his place in life, especially considering how big of a "what if?" he truly was.

He's american and that's it. He was born here no where else. Why do Americans need to be something other than themselves it's like they're running away from the horrible person they are. No such thing

The WWE screwed Hassan. Instead of re-editing SD! to cut the segment out to air of Friday they kept it in. The terrorist attack in Paris happened the date of the taping. Instead of Vince taking responsibility, he placed all the blame on Hassan.

He was so good in his job that as a Persian, I could only see how it all aligned to his story and character, he actually made me believe he was an Arab and Sean Daivari was also great, such a great job he did back then
