According to Inziman, Yousaf is the greatest Batsman Pakistan has ever produced. Lobbying and team politics destroyed the last part of his career. If this was not so then he would be definitely the top scoring Pakistani Batsman in Tests and One days. No wonder he was the ICC man of the year two times in a row but PCB has its own filthy standards.

Great player, elegant, stylish, natural Stock player, hook, cover drive excellent, having no words 4 his class.. PCB never produced such that player till now.. unfortunately he couldn't complete his career due to lobby and dirty politics.. Missing him to much in 2021... Great Legand.. luv you

A class batsman, big match player, always performed good against top teams in big games. Backbone of batting line from 1998 to 2010. He was replaced too early by mishba ul haq (PCB puppet)with very poor batting approach.

Saqlain was a very motivational and encouraging non striker end batter those days.. I remember he was chanting and yelling for every boundary hit by Wasim Akram in that famous test where Waz scored 257

Yousuf was amazing to watch at his best. He wasn't the best batsman against very high class spinners eg Kumble and he didn't hook the ball well enough. I'm a Pakistani. Inzamam was better than him, but Yousuf was fitter.
