You guys are the cutest! BTW, I am an Early Childhood Educator, and I'll tell you that 100% of toddlers are picky eaters. They are very particular with textures, flavors, and just the whole idea of chewing in general. Which is why many prefer the fruit pouches, or puffs, or foods that generally dissolve in their mouths with little effort. A toddler choosing not to eat at lunch time is 100% common. Do not worry one bit.💛 I've had many parents approach me with concern that their little one is going to be behind on growth charts because she/he doesn't eat at home. I encourage them to not worry. It's Toddlerhood! ☺️ They're coming into their own and developing the idea of autonomy and are finally becoming a little person with the ability to make decisions. They have you, as parents, to guide them as they embark on so many new things developing in their minds & little bodies.🤍 Not to mention they are growing LOADS between the ages of 12 months and 3 years. Their brain development is at at an all-time high! There is SO much they are working out in their minds that a lot of parents haven't a clue about. TRUST ME, your toddler is just as confused about their lack of interest in something as you are. They are not intentionally disobedient-they're just learning about themselves. Please do not worry.🙏🏼 It's simply part of their development. Bless your little Pia, and your little family! Blessings from California!☀️
