This is going to be the last deer hunt video of the season. It turned out to be a great hunt. I seen deer tracks all over and I did end up seeing some deer. I went for a pretty good hike, doing some still hunting and trying to stay out of the freezing wind. Then the weather changed and it started snowing like crazy with fog, so I decided to head home. Howdy Bud. When I was a young lad living in the Okanagan, we used to hunt the logged off areas like you have in this video. We always had great luck glassing the tree lines where the trees were mature. The deer didn't like the cold wind either. I suspect all the tracks you saw were made by small bands of deer when the wind isn't to bad, like before sun up. Lots of deer where you are there. I also used to go into the mature stuff, and walk ever so slowly, and come upon deer bedded down. Got my fair share of bucks that way too. Good luck on your future hunts. I hope to get out for bison soon, but too damn cold right now! Lol.

Hi Johnny, yes I agree with you on the deer movement, I was going to go in the timber, but with the snow and fog I decided to head home. lol. lol, not as old as I am. Seeing going up those hills makes feel even older. I'm 70, can't friggin' believe it!! @@bcextremeoutdoorsman

Well it's not like you didn't give it ol' college try. Eating that deer tag won't be to bad since you have plenty of Moose meat in the freezer.
