Mules are bred in the Eastern Himalayas for the transportation and porting
The village of Gurdum at an altitude of 8000 feet belonging to the Lesser Himalaya or Mahabharata range to the east of the Himalayas is now a familiar name to tourists. From here a road goes up to Lamedhura through thick pine forest. We started walking from Gurdum after loading the essentials on the back of the mules. The video was recorded shortly before reaching Lamedhura.
