Thanks for this video. I've been experimenting with these features and it's been trial and error. This places a great summary all in one place in a short video.
Thanks for the video you created here! It's Great! I had tried to livestream in the past but, of course I was concerned about copyright issues. I recently started to livestream with MixCloud becuase they claimed to take care of copyrights after we pay them $15 per month. I am a coder and I helped them fix something on their site that was blocking out a lot of Spectrum ISP users. They couldn't playback the shows that were published. The play button had a CORS Error restriction. Anyways it's fixed now. I had told Mixcloud that I was livestreaming Music Videos. They told me that they don't cover the music video copyrights or any photos that are copyrighted. The copyright rules are questionable to me. Like if we buy videos from say a company like Promo Only, I had asked an AI about playing them in Night Clubs. The AI answered me and told me that we're supposed to get permission to use those videos in Clubs. Its almost like we need a Lawyer to DJ anything anymore. Luckily they don't crack down on us because we would all be out of a job if they did!
Is using this feature resource heavy on the laptop? How much memory is recommended? Do you need a separate graphic card? How much storage I need? Finally, what is the recommended CPU?
This has been really helpful. I have a question. I have a 1hour mp4 video file that I would like to broadcast. Do I use the slideshow or the GFX video skin?
Can use both.. .Slideshow FX will let you play the hour long video as background, and GFX video skin will overlay some graphics.. Or either one of those :) A bit up to you
Yes it will. Most DJ's doesn't have this unit but since it can be setup as a virtual camera it will work with virtual DJ. So will Most inexpensive HDMI plug and play adaptors, Mevo Cam with it's new Mevo App for PC and Mac as well as software interfaces apps like ManyCam and IPCam Driver (which is supports the use of most IP cams as a web camera.
