This is really cool… also a really cool way to have an entire set of custom shortcuts you use, but then be able to turn them off and quickly revert back to default keys if you have a collaborator that is used to the default shortcuts.
just making sure i understood this correctly, will the alt keyboard shortcuts always be temporary, based on the length set in settings? is there an option to add a temporary toggle to temp shortcuts? as in, while having B pressed, alt2 stays active, once one let's go of B, it returns to default shortcuts?
Cool, but mostly confusing. The total of shortcuts possible without this trick is about 100. This trick makes 900 from that number. How on earth are you expected to remember 900 shortcuts?
Is there a way to automatically implement the melodyne plugin when clicking on audio tracks like in mixcraft for example? There is always the melodyne window. Reaper feels very slow when i have to open melodyne every time manually via plugin
