What’s up ya’ll and welcome BACK to another absolute BANGER of a video!! In this one, we take the kayak out to one of the most legendary lakes in all of New York. With the likes of massive pike, lake trout, salmon, and big bass, you know you’re in for a treat anytime you decide to hit the water. Come along as we try to tackle this ultra clear lake, and enjoy!

Dude....you're wearing Birkenstocks in the kayak??! Suggestion: Get some water shoes or use old sneakers. For one thing, I know from experience that Birkenstocks can be destroyed by water. Also, those rubber rings on your paddle are called drip guards. They below about 4-6" from the paddle blade to stop drips from running down the shaft and onto you and the boat.

Thanks for the tips! I’ve invested in some crocs now which have been way better around the water. As for the drip guards I had no idea those were there so thank you for letting me know 👍

Lake george is the most stunning lakes in the world in my opinion. It has all if not not most of the freshwater species found on the east coast. Max depth in the lake is 210 ft. Its one of the clearest fresh water lakes on the east coast.

Finally getting around to watching your channel after meeting you the other day! Lake George really is a special place! I hate how much traffic there is during the summer but incredible fishing. I have friends on the lake but I honestly don't fish it in the summer very often. We do more family stuff when up there. I do spend a lot of time ice fishing and man it is an incredible place. I used to live on a good bass lake in Maryland that I fished a lot and that had lots of big bass. I quickly figured out that even 8 pound line on spinning gear would break off on me sometimes (usually on the hookset) so I moved to 10 pound and it made a huge difference. BUT... Lake George is super clear so lighter line might work better for slow presentations but even so I probably would stick to 8 pound and not go less. Cool video man and I'm glad we met!

I absolutely love Lake George but you’re right, the traffic makes it pretty hard to navigate LOL. But it’s such a gem with all the quality fish in it so I make myself go up there at least a couple times every summer. Even if I get skunked at least I get to enjoy the surroundings. Thanks for watching and it was nice meeting you too!

Nice job on the largemouth. Got nervous when he jumped. The water temp is still 45-48 degrees there so you're a little shallow for the bigger fish. Try the drop shot at 25-30 early, then move into the shallows on the west bank around midday. Good luck!
