Two brands of multipurpose sticks are Trinny of London stackable and Boom by Cindy Joseph. Boom products are all natural. No chemicals and the Boom Sticks are also great for shine, Glo and color. Sandra
Thanks for sharing!! I have tried Trinny London products and love them but they are just so expensive! Also Boom sticks are supposed to be wonderful - I actually interviewed Cindy Joseph many years ago and loved her philosophy and style! I must try the Boom sticks - do you like them?
I like Boom Sticks. I think they are for people that really don’t want to bother with taking much time with make up and they do it nice job of making you look like you care about yourself. But I think the point is everything is all natural which other things are as well, and if you just Simply not all that interested in spending time, this is an excellent product and worth the money. It lasts a very long time
I've always liked the fresh natural look, and have very sensitive skin. Boom by Cindy Joseph is perfect for me. The color stick gives you a lovely blush to your cheeks. You can also buy a 3 pack kit that contains a skin highlighter and a glow stick along with the cheek color stick.
@Sixty and Me I love the way you are talking Wet and Wild and then Chanel🤣. That's me! I wear all brands - mix them up! Just bought the W&W blush stick today! Under $5.00😄🎉. Thanks, with xxxooo
Mally Shadow Sticks for eyes. The bronze and champagne shades are gorgeous. They apply super creamy, take a minute to set, then don’t budge all day. Perfection.
Another thing that works is tube of lipstick, I have been doing that for years, cheep and cheerful, dot it on over your foundation and blend in with a brush. Good way to use up extra lipsticks.
I love Boom sticks by Cindy Joseph. The color is perfect for eyes, cheeks and lips. I will be trying the Flower Beauty and Elf sticks, they both looked lovely. Thank you, Margaret!
I was really disappointed with Boom. They are so expensive. Cindy Joseph was wonderful. I wish her products were less expensive. Thanks for the information on less expensive options.
I loved them too, but they didn’t last long for the price. The package was tiny and the product was as so soft, especially in summer, that it faded away and I had to re-apply a lot.
I needed this tutorial. Thank you for taking the time to create and share all the utube videos. I am dipping slowly into wearing makeup again. Haven’t worn in over 2 years. Tossed all makeup because well it was over 2 years.
Thank you for such and entertaining video. So nice to see such beautiful colours. I also like the Flower sticks. Very different type of a gel balm. Sticks in general are so handy to have and to put in your travel bag. I do find that cream sticks fade on me quickly so I have to use a primer. Thrive has an interesting stick blush with a brush on the other end which is really convenient.
Your makeup looks so pretty today, Margaret. I got two sample sticks. One Ilia in the color dreamer, and Kosasport in the color, rush. Both beautiful on lips and cheeks. I don’t use them on my eyes. I have sensitive eyes and they seem too emollient. Otherwise both versatile and lovely colors.
Long lasting is definitely difficult to try! I will be trying some fo these :) your skin and makeup look extra lovely here! 😍 you have a nice glow you!
I would actually love to see a video of your reviewing the high end ones! :) I don’t mind picking up some expensive products sometimes when they last me such a long time
Can't afford to purchase high end products and in most cases they are no better than the more affordable options. Do you have any specific high end brands you love?
Thank you,for reviewing affordable products,Margaret. All of the colors are lovely.I love the color you're wearing.I buy a lot of Elf because it's vegan and cruelty free. I wasn't in love with the blush stick, though. What I do like is Colorpop. It's creamy and long lasting on my cheeks and lips.
wonderful review!!! would love to see multisticks for face/concealer . i love the way han smells!!! and, as the other reviewer said, love boom sticks, han ...i have tried jones road but not sold on it (higher cost like han). this will sound odd but i wish "they" offered options in size such as the jumbo flower and the tiny milk tester (for travel/purse vs home ) thank you again for your time and your wonderfully informative review. you are beautiful!
Margaret, I have the elf and Han multisticks..they are both great. I really use them only for blush, but, they both last. I'd rather buy a face of Wet and Wild than one high-end product; that's just my opinion. Prices of just about everything here in the States are rising, so I've decided just to "shop my stash" and buy only drugstore brands, which I find perfectly fine. They all look lovely on you! TFS; stay safe and well. Rosemarie 💖
Love all the makeup reviews and demos. I too am someone who loves makeup….always have. I don’t see myself ever stopping. I recently got into the ordinary skin care and think I now have most of what they sell….but at the price they sell these items I can get a lot for just a few dollars.
This is a great video. Thank you, Margaret! I'm going to try some of these multisticks. I have Nudestix Bloom Bohemian Rose and really like it but am willing to try less expensive ones.
Thanks for the information, I may try the L'Oréal ones next time I order from Amazon. I did have a giggle when you brought out the Chanel one, even the way you say Chanel and hold it in your hands show that you really enjoy and love this product. Why not? You only live once and you've had that a long time, I remember when you bought it for the comparison video it's lasted a long time. I have come to love cream blush too, I find it very flattering.
Just FYI you might want to check out Adrienne Arpel she has been around many years started out as a .Professional makeup artist and she is a entrepreneur hard working and inovative. She started the sticks years ago in her Signature A line I think on HSN she makes kits...they last forever and special ones for aging skin... the boom stick color for cheeks is very similar to the one Adrian made years ago and hers were more affordable!! Check her out,!! You look beautiful Margaret!! ❤️
I tried the Ilia but will not get it again, not a very strong pigment so one uses a lot to get the colour required - thus it doesn’t last very long! Your video is very timely as I need to find an alternative, thank you- I will look for ELF and L’Oreal as I am in the UK
Nice, I have the e.l.f., and use on cheeks. I will have to try the flower, that is lovely on you. I did try a all in one stick from Thrive, it is a bit too pink, and I only use on cheeks and put powder on to tone it down. Thrive didn’t have very many color choices and it is expensive.
You’re right. The pigment in many cream products doesn’t last very long. That’s very disappointing to me. I apply a very nice amount of the cream product so the pigment is just what I want and then an hour later I can’t see anything. My skin is quite dry so I love cream products (and I have tried many at different price points) because they are creamy and moisturizing, but much of the time the pigment just doesn’t last. I just can’t understand how other women get better longevity.
Margaret, I love your videos. You’re a natural in front of the camera. Your sweet personality comes through so well. Where do you get your necklaces? They are all so pretty.
Hi, Margaret. I am currently in Zurich visiting family. I am told Amazon cannot deliver here. How do you get items from Amazon? I truly enjoy the variety of topics you cover!
Thank you Margaret. That shade of your top looks beautiful on you and your makeup looks beautiful too. Thank you for sharing. I need to use a hypoallergenic makeup, especially for my eyes. I don’t know how many you have used or promoted but I will research your videos for them. I have not updated or used makeup lately and want to get all new products. Thanks for being a resource in my search with so many products out there. 💕
I love these reviews! It turns out I have the one from milk. It was a sample I got in my birthday cake from Phora. I always try to use my older ones up, but now I’m intrigued and will try it. I love the Elf products, I learned about them from you I might also try the Flower Beauty
Hi Joyce, I have not tried Boom sticks - but will consider them. I did interview Cindy Joseph who founded the company and loved her aesthetic! Do you like them?
