Amazing as always... What Dima teaches us all is how important breathing is to Chi (intelligent energy ) in generating power... he is explosive with his shots and relaxes in between.... just amazing.... i am learning a lot from these videos and trying to apply it to my and my kids game... Keep inspiring us all Dima.. Cheers
Congratulations, Dima, the joy of a parent is to have a child follow in their footsteps, you have not only followed, but you have ensured you have left a mark. Ensure you keep the tradition by letting your children play.
Great player and a nice guy. But... his breathing/sound effects are the only thing I think is more annoying than Harimoto's yelling after every point he scores.
This is amazing 👍💪 Father and Son working together to reach the Medal In Tokyo.. 👏🏓 This is beautifil! Good Luck Dima 👍🏓 Thank You also for advice.. We amateurs need Your help.. 😊👍
Great athletic ability, the banana flicks are explosive and super well placed on the table (love it). This is a tremendous weapon in today's TT game. I had also commented in another site how important breathing is important during play, I have a serious problem as I keep cutting my oxygen supply as I am going through a fast rally. Your breathing I believe helps that type of issue by releasing energy and forcing air in/out of the lungs. VERY important ! (even if it sounds funny like some say, I think this is a must, some will make more noise than others, that is all !) Super intense video - kudos to your dad that is there all the way ! Bravo
Thanks a lot for your nice feedback Alexandre! We like the way you look at it! Since a very young age Dimas dad told him to daily train on breath out strongly to get more power in his strokes, that became stronger and stronger during the years.. but also more and more power came out of it. The same with many of the professional powerful tennis players.
so is there a reason for the heavy grunting ? is it just a bad habit gone chronical, or is there a timing aspect to it that he started himself and cant undo. Its extreamly unpleasent. I have nothing against this guy, he smiles and seems positive, but the grunting is just too much, obnoixous..
When Dima was a young kid, his father was his coach and told him that it’s very important to breath out when he hit the ball - to get more power. That breathing out became stronger and stronger = more and more power. Same as in tennis for so many of the professionals..
Hey Tim, part one is around 20 min, part two is around 20 min, part 3 is around 15 min and part 4 is around 40 min. A few minutes rest between the 4 parts.
Love Training videos, this video was very informative and hopefully we get more videos like this. But what was the white thing on Dimas left shoe? But great video🔥🏓
Congratulation Dima and to your father your good showing in Tokyo Olympics inspired us against Ma Long and wonder boy Lin jun.you really shake the Asian.Even demolishing Hugo. I wonder how you develop your mental toughness? Ma Long won in the last set by just break of the game.thanks Germany for supporting world table tennis.is it true boll's wife is a Filipina? Congratulation did a good effort for a good showing in the Olympics. As a personal protests i didn't not follow lawn tennis it's news just passed the glimpse of my eye. Denying me the worthwhile table tennis news. You know just lately I knew Seung Min Ryu played professionally in the German league a league going on for a long time yearly.oh my! From Manila, Philippines God bless
Watching his backhand stroke, one realizes how grossly inefficient his forehand is. He was able to generate more power with much compact motion with his backhand. Maybe trim the backswing of the forehand little bit? Use more elbow and wrist and less body to stay close to table. Chinese are moving towards compact strokes. Playing close to table, sometimes their elbow stays same level as their head and still able to produce quality balls..
imagine a big guy like this with a modern racket & rubber lifting one dead ball and not getting any traction or speed. Something with the game is drastically wrong.
@@TTSmashCity 9:58 Dima explained about multiball training session. I learn something out from this. Thank You. Multiball training is separated in 4 different parts. 1. Short game part. 2. Underspin part. 3. Upspin part. 4. Combination multiball part.
