I love how she treats all three of her daughters the same and how she does the same for all of them! It's nice to see this in a multi cultural/racial family
She didn't treat all the hair the same because they are different textures and have different needs. She did however treat all their hair with love and care. The haircare needs of all children were met. That is what is important.
Wdym. Usually people with kids don’t have as nice skin as she does. Y k having kids is exhausting, u don’t get enough sleep or time to take care of urself right?
Their whole family is so cute. The little blonde girl is so pretty, her hair is so naturally long she could play a young Rapunzel in the next Disney movie 😍😍
She recognizes and accommodates the kids' needs, turns it into something fun, times it for their comfort, gives them options/breaks. This is awesome parenting.
Nah you can see them fake that they like it. She has an oppressive fake kindness. She probably doesn't accommodate their opinion when camera is off. She fakes it
I am a psychologist and this woman is actually abusing her child. "My daughter is sad because she doesn't want to do hair day." "I'm not going to let my child walk out the door without her hair ." Having no empathy for others others is a symptom of both narcissism and psychopathy. Why can't she just have her natural hair? Making others conform to you is abuse.
@@md55773You could obviously see that the kids are familiar with her acting this friendly so it’s obvious that she is not a fake and you are jealous or rude
you are so right. this is the first video i've ever seen on this channel and there's just so much love in it, it made me tear up a little. i wish my multicultural family was like this growing up. when i was young, nobody talked about it - people made it shameful. i remember being cared for as if i were white. my parents weren't cruel make no mistake, and i was cared for! but it took a long time for me to understand my own body, hair type, etc. and with hair especially, that meant undoing years of accidental damage. it makes me so happy to see a family able to embrace every member with love and understanding, and even happier to see that they can post it publicly online and show other people how truly important it is to create this loving environment. the number of people who are glad to see it and think it's beautiful, makes me tear up too. i remember hearing so many unkind things said about my family. people are still like they were when i was young, sometimes, but i see more and more people who are good and kind and it brings me hope for the world. sorry to ramble. it made me feel so warm to see this!
Lol, believe me, I try, but what do I do when my daughter does not want to wash her hair? Here in Brazil we wash hair in the shower (sinks do not have heated water, only on Very fancy house). Só she os always afraid of water or soap falling on her eyers. What I do? I wrap a Tower arround my belly, allow her to squeezy her face againist It, Tell her "always keep looking up". I allow her to dry her face everytime she wants. I massage her scalp, try to calm her down, but, somedays, she Just wants to scream. Idk what else to.
I love seeing a black woman doing a hair video that includes a white daughter. There are tons of hair videos out there with white moms and thier black daughters which is beautiful, but seeing this family dynamic celebrated is rare and so refreshing to see. It’s so representative of the world we live in today! Bravo mama👏🏻 keep being an amazing mom🥰
I totally agree, I’m so thankful that my daughter has such beautiful long straight dark hair it was so easy to keep control of lol, my son has hair like his dad and he always loved to have a trip to the barbershop, he still loves to go to the same barbershop he used to go to with his dad I think he feels close to his dad who sadly passed away from complications with sickle cell but now my son has a daughter who has really curly hair he went to get advice from his aunts to help with her hair, since having Bell I have had to learn how to do her hair so to see how a black woman demonstrate how she does her hair and her daughters hair has been a great help to me, it’s so fabulous how genetics works because I am white my husband was black my daughter has dark straight hair my son has his father’s hair his daughter has the same hair just a blonde brown colour and slightly more relaxed curls and my daughter has two girls who have the most thick luscious big curls, having a blended family is awesome and this mom makes my heart so happy I so wish I could have had her in my life when my kids were growing up I think she would have been such an inspiration to me as she is to my kids and their kids, for them to see a family just like ours is truly a blessing 🥰🥰🙏🏼
@@azillliasmith2734 Hair washing in the sink is the easiest on both the kid's back and the mom's back. Trust me bending over the bathtub in a cramped bathroom trying to rinse your hair and not get your whole body wet is not fun
I’m normally really hesitant to watch any “family channels” because they can be really exploitative and controversial but the amount of love I’m this family is so evident. Yes they’re making content but it’s not forced and the kids are actually enjoying themselves, no melt downs were shown and the kids are treated so fairly and with so much love. This family channel is done right.
@@sammywinters6246 Any family channel. If we’re being literal, even this channel exploits their children because of the fact that they use them for money. Though at the very least this channel seems more genuine in its content and passion. LaBrant Family, Ace Family and The Prince family are some of the bad ones
Right, growing up I thought all parents were like this because that's how mine were. But I realized it's sadly not the case. Now I'm learning to appreciate my parents more and stop taking them for granted cause it's a blessing to have grown up under their care.
Thank God for women and families like these. Just when I think there is more hate in people than good in people, I get a chance to see this beautiful family thriving. God bless you all.
Never seen this family before but even before the first beautiful girls hair was done I was in love, her conversation with her daughter 1. Her getting so tickled over her daughters funny joke 2. Her honesty about not liking her hair done but knowing it’s important, this mama is setting the best example ever... honesty 💖💖
I love the fact that she starts by saying she is so grateful to have different hair types because it allows her to learn and teach her children how to take care of it. That’s so awesome and rewarding. Love that ♥️
8:05 I really appreciate how she talks about finding Tiger's hair 'difficult' or harder than her black kid's hair at first because often we only hear about white parents and poc kids. It was refreshing to hear her talk to openly about the learning curve.
Agreed! Different hair types need very different care, and when you only know your own, or close to your own, to jump to a totally different type is going to have a learning curve, no matter where you start and where you end. Learning with grace and patience is a remarkable skill.
YES! Listen I am a white mom and I have a white daughter but her hair was so different from mine that it also had a learning curve. I actually started watching her videos because my daughter had super curly hair and I was trying to figure it out. She probably had closest to Badger's until she got it cut.
i don’t usually comment but the way she treats all of her children the same makes me actually smile, the amount of times i smiled while watching this video is uncountable. great job momma!
i’m just sitting here crying thinking about how kind and amazing these kiddos are gonna grow up to be 💗 you guys are amazing parents & they’re all so lucky to have you
My granny would wash my hair in the sink because she had no bathroom in her house and I knew that and I felt like a princess. I know your girls are gonna grow up feeling like a princess because of what you do for them.
My mom used to wash my hair and it was a traumatic experience. She tugged a brush through yanking on the tangles and called my hair a mop. Your girls are so blessed
I would have loved the shampoo buddy when my mom was washing my hair like that! And the idea of "spa day" with robes and everything is genius. Top marks Mom! Your girls are adorable. 🤗Just watched again. Panda is so gentle putting masks on! This looks like such a nice day.
One of the sweetest things I've ever seen! And God especially bless the men in your family for being so kind and caring to the women. Y'all had me cracking up and in tears when the guys were giving y'all the spa treatment. So much fun and beneficial too. And may the parents be richly blessed for showing such love for the children. May your daughters grow up to be cultured but down to earth young ladies who have God's favor. The guys get a 10/10 for effort and products and overall great attitudes! 🙏🏽💜
“We will hum for you” and then the coffee mug chimes 😭😂😭😂😭😂 you guys are such an awesome family! I love that brother is so willing to treat the ladies to a spa day! ♥️
6:00 minutes is the most wholesome and beautiful interaction on the planet, it reminds me of my mom washing my hair when I was little, 10/10 cried real tears from the genuine love sweetness you give these girls
i think it's so special that you put so much time and effort into learning how to care for tigers hair properly, instead of just cutting it short or putting it in a bun like many mothers do. her hair looks so soft and shiny and healthy! you have such a beautiful loving family
My mum was great. She and I were both tomboys - no makeup, special "girly" treatments or anything, more getting dirty and climbing trees etc. So this video blows my mind! Thanks for showing me another angle of parenting.
My mom was the same and I was also a tomboy. But I do feel sad sometimes because she has straight hair and married a guy with curly hair. I still struggle trying to do my hair & was bullied for having messy hair when I was younger. I also suck at doing makeup so I never wear it. I feel like those are two skills my mother should have taught me
@@isabelamogosanu7777 look up "Curly Girl" method - there are tons of RU-vid videos, websites, Social media pages and groups to teach you how to care for curly hair. I didn't learn till I was in my 30s, and it's healthier than ever. You can still learn!
I know this is an old video and you may never see this but in case you don thank you for this so much. Adult whose step mom didn’t take time to learn or help with my loose bouncing curls and I had no idea what I was doing for years. I’ve learned much over the years from amazing ladies with curly hair and you’ve added to my knowledge in a fun way. So, so appreciative
Love how you are willing to adopt and help children of any age most want younger or babies . I was 13 no one wanted me or to adopt me. I wish more families are willing to adopt older children.
The first time I dated outside race I was astonished with the difference in hair texture. I'm northwest European and she's southeast Asian. I became obsessed with playing with her hair. The highlight of my week was when she let me shampoo and do her hair. She was the one who taught me about jojoba oil which I highly recommend as it strengthens hair. I have always had long hair myself but it would wear down at the ends at roughly half the rate it grew so it would take me ten years to grow two feet of hair and always looked ragged but it only took her five years for the same length and she always looked like a shampoo model. Then I started using jojoba oil and it was a huge difference. Instead of only getting 2.5 inches of additional hair per year I started getting 4 inches of additional length per year and now my hair is well lets say longer than most women's hair. My hair is naturally thin and brittle but it's now actually thick because the jojoba oil will infuse the individual hairs and increase their individual diameters. It's almost like I have extensions in my hair now. For any hair that is naturally brittle or tends to break or wear down easily I strongly recommend it. It also makes it far easier to comb. It's expensive but you only need a fraction of the amount people use of other oils. Stay away from coconut oil. it smells nice but does nothing but clog pores and inhibit growth. Jojoba is also good for very dry skin and really good for nails.
I love that they treat all their kids equally and show them all so much genuine love and affection while taking the time for so many different cultures and hair types, while showing so much care for how they're feeling and taking care of them while giving them options❤❤
Daddies should be teaching their daughters to take no less from a boyfriend or husband. And Daddies should be teaching their sons that a good husband shouldn’t be afraid to give that love to his wife and kids.
This video is so relaxing!! three beautiful little girls with beautiful hair. I love how you treat your daughters, such a sweet mother and beautiful too. God bless you all
I can't tell you why, but there is nothing that makes me happier than multi-racial families. I LOVE THAT! Especially you guys are so charming and kind! (I also love how at the end you lie there sorted from darkest skin tone to lightest. that's all kinds of adorable). Thank you for making that content! Would give 100000 likes if I could
She is such a nice mom to all her kids. She explains their hair and scalp care to them and the camera. Such a diverse family, and she handles it amazing 😄
This was absolutely beautiful and wonderful. I love the way you and your husband work with your kids. And the statement about a child’s hair not being difficult once you get the right tools is something that I absolutely agree with
The way you speak to your kids' intelligence so that they feel acknowledged and accepted is truly beautiful. The world would be a better place if all parents spoke this way to their kids. You and Drue are doing a great job at family bonding time. Your kids will happily reminisce about times like Spa Day all their life. And I love your infectious laugh! 🤣
I love this mother so much you can tell she actually cares about her children and is also great with them, she seems so happy and so do of her children. I also love that she lets them choose what they want to do instead of forcing them to do something they don’t want to because it’s convenient for her. She’s literally the sweetest🫶🏼
Jeena your love and joy for your family just glows off you! You and Christy Gior are my heroes when it comes to just loving your children 100% regardless how they entered your family! I just love your family and the way the big guys treated you! “Hummmmm””!” Love overcomes everything!
First time seeing your channel today, and you had me smiling in under 30 seconds. You have such a kind and beautiful smile. When you spoke about your girls, the love really shone through. They are so fortunate to have you as a mom, and I feel privileged to have you share your positivity with me. The world needs more of that sunshine!
Jenna you have the most beautiful smile I have ever seen and so do the rest of the family!!! I can just feel your happiness and love threw the camera and the authenticity of this channel it’s so refreshing to watch!!!! I’m really glad I found your channel I’m all on the videos can’t wait to see more😊😊😊😊
There are so many things to love about this video. One thing I thought was amazing was your shampoo buddy! How I would’ve loved that when my son was younger. I like that you made a chore such as washing your hair into a fun bonding experience. But I have to say my very favorite part was spa day and the man of the family catered to the women of the family. You have a truly awesome family!
The kids are amazing, but can we talk about the mom?! She has a very warm big smile, she is extremely charismatic and she gives her all to her kids. Not a mom myself but I have an amazing mom like that too!
This is so sweet! Yes, you are treating your children as parents and loving on them and having these experiences as a family… but you are also setting the bar for what they should want, desire, aspire to have as individuals in their own relationships. Not to mention what your son is learning from his father… Love it! Such a genuine and kind family ❤
The spa portion was too funny! That is definitely the full face treatment!🤣🤣🤣 I mean, everyone’s face was completely covered, eyes and everything 😭😂😂😂😂 Mom’s reaction was too funny!!
My mom was a hair dresser when I was young and my FAVORITE thing was when she'd wash my hair. I love getting my hair washed even to this day. I hate washing my own because it's a chore, but getting it washed? Heaven.
I love watching y’all. You are such an amazing mom. I think I need you to be my mom even if I am probably 25 years older than you. I love how you treat all you girls the same. I tried once to do my goddaughters hair, I had no clue how to do her hair. She cried, I cried, and when her mom came back she laughed. She told me that her hair wasn’t just wash and go that there was a lot of steps. Heck I didn’t know I just thought you did like I did mine. It takes me about 15 minutes start to finish with my hair because I let it dry naturally to keep my curls for a few days.
Your family is awesome! I love how spa day becomes a family affair. Mom your skin is popping! You have such a beautiful glow! Kudos to the men for making spa day extra special!
This kids are so lucky I wish my mother would take care of me like this or at least teach me to take care of my self. I'm still learning things I should have been doing a long time ago instead of in my mid teens
I hope Panda and Drue get the option of a spa day if they ever want one! Even though it's a lot of work and time, I'm so happy for Tiger, Cow, Badger, and Jeena. This one-on-one time is so valuable for bonding, and also teaches that taking care of one's self is something that is important and can be done thoughtfully. I love that Jeena uses lots of conditioner and is mindful of not pulling on hair. I hated any time my parents had to do my hair because it was only ever to get tangles or debris out and it always hurt a lot. I am tender-headed, but I can imagine if hair days were like this instead, I would have loving memories of these days and might find taking care of my body to be an easier/more appreciated thing for me.
As a hairdresser it was so validating when you said you don’t know how we do it haha… so true though I’ve been doing it 10 years and my back still kills me after a long day
All beautiful parents and kids. Probably time to start teaching the kids to do their own hair. By the time I was six or seven, I was expected to. Dad and brother's spa day was sweet. My brother used to do that for his wife in appreciation of what a great mom she was, too. Nice way to teach your son kindness for the work of women. Great video. Kudos all around!
This woman single handedly restores my faith in humanity! Just imagine if every social media page or RU-vid channel was filled with this kind of positivity instead of all the crap that's out there.
I love it that this Mama calls her family “multi cultural”, not “multi racial”. We are all members of the same human race; we just have different skin color levels (and other small differences). What a beautiful family!
