I feel this is such a transition that a lot of girls go through at that age. When they make a big choice for the first time themselves about their appearance and what they'd like. She's looking good!

Tiger looks so beautiful! Thank you Mama for going with Tiger’s wish for a cut, honestly, hair is the lesser of the battles we as parents, especially mama’s, should focus on as they get older and more independent. By allowing this change, you are embracing her individuality as a young girl but as a person. Not today there shouldn’t be lines not crossed like respect, modesty, obedience, but hair is a safer form of independence for children from Tiger’s age through their teens.

Tiger, love your glasses! My Mom is a retired optician and back when I was your age I always had the most fun glasses. Kids would tease, but those glasses cost a lot and were full of love. Your Mom, Dad, and siblings love you so much

A couple of days ago, I made the big leap too to cut my hair. My hair was just a little bit shorter than Tiger's hair before she cut it. I donated my hair for the first time around Tiger’s age. It has become quite the “addiction” now and now I donate it every time I cut my hair so it’s quite the massive chop every time! I’m glad tiger seems to love her new style!
