MultiMC is a powerful, bloat-free launcher for Minecraft. This video shows how to install Forge mods. multimc.org/ Playlist of MultiMC tutorials: • MultiMC
MultiMC only supports Forge in Minecraft 1.12.2 and below. multimc.org/posts/forge-114.html Use Twitch or ATLauncher to play the newest Forge mods. The Fabric modloader for 1.14+ is supported in MultiMC and there are many cool mods for it.
No mention of Linux? :) Lol, its easy guys, as Linux has File explorers, as it were, that act much the same way as in Windows. :) From there everything seems to be the same. :) Thanks for the helpful video, man. :) Subbed and Liked. :D
thanks. the official launcher just crashes for me now and no tech support was able to figure it out. I'm switching away from that monstrosity to MultiMC now.
@@BladeAerialFox The MultiMC metadata servers do not appear to be down. I can install Forge with no issue. The best place to get help is on the MultiMC Discord: multimc.org/#Discord
It says there is a binary discrepancy and it says to get a clean jar there are two things in the jar file do I get rid of them? Edit nvm I changed witch version of Minecraft I was gonna use and forgot to change the version of forge
Then it didn't install properly. Check the log when Minecraft launches to see any possible errors. The MC launch screen also tells you the Forge version.
Alle goes welk until i go into the world then it crashes and says "a fatal error hes been detected by the Java runtime environment, problematic frame ig7icd64.dll+0x22d77, process exided with code 1, failed to write core dump. Pls help
With no indication of what mods you are trying to run, system specs, or Java version then it is only a guess, but I would say graphics drivers. Make sure they are updated. Try to get vanilla minecraft working first then forge by itself then mods. (a few at a time if many)
@@ScottoMotto Even when i try to run vanilla or forge Alone via multimc it gets the same error. The sys specs are: Intel core i5-3337u 1.80 GHz and Intel HD graphics, 1.99gb RAM. Model name: Dell latitude 3330
@@ReddyG1 what version of minecraft are you trying to run? With only 2gb of system ram you won't be able to run that latest versions. Maybe 1.12.2 with light mods or 1.7.10 with a few.
MultiMC doesn't affect sound settings at all. So I would look at your system settings and be sure you are getting sound from javaw.exe in the system sound mixer. The only other thing could be an incomplete download of Minecraft resources. So test other profile installs and versions and see if it is just one or more.
The easiest way to install Optifine is with Forge as you just put it in the mods folder. But if for some reason you want Optifine alone without Forge (or any other mods) then this technique is fairly easy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bsXTLTNLaPs.html
You sound like a drill instructor :D Unfortunately this did not help - I'm trying to launch Blood n Bones 1.6.4 - but the game launches without the mods loaded. :(
