@@openingchain328 The good thing with Dreams is that you can learn algorithms and methods, and that same logical thinking applies if you want to code the same thing. Its just instead of "use a calculator to subtract one position from the other" you need to use a piece of code to do that. But you're still finding the distance from one position to the other.
How difficult would it be to rewire this to be top down instead of from the side? Seems rough because so many things are dependant on the movement in specific axis. I would love to make a top down multiplayer game with this, and the players would be held to the one axis by gravity / the ground so it is still a 2d plane you are dealing with. I'm kinda surprised you didn't make it top-down to begin with? Multiplayer side scrollers are hard to make fun imo
I don't see it being that bad. I think you just have to swap a couple of wires but tbh I haven't tried. The reason I did it this way was because this is how the person who asked for help wanted it lol
